Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

"What Did You Learn Online Today?"

I learned that the BBC is still calling Hamas terrorists "militants," still concealing the bloodthirsty and antisemitic nature of the Hamas Charter, and still peddling the line that Israel's responses to rocket attacks from Gaza are disproportionate.
On which see the splendid indictment by the incomparable Melanie Phillips: http://www.spectator.co.uk/melaniephillips/6851040/the-bbc-maintains-its-impeccable-evenhandedness-between-murderer-and-victim.thtml

Oh - and I also learned some clever lines:

What Did You Learn Online Today?
.....

I learned that the Arabs must be strong.
They are always right and never wrong.
The PA and Hamas are the finest men.
So their people never need to vote again.

I learned that Israel always shoots first.
Their human rights record is the worst.
I learned that Palestine must be free.
From the Jordan to the sea.

I learned that terrorism isn't so bad.
I learned some great times the Palestinians have had.
They killed in Munich and in France.
And I must defend them at every chance.

And that's what I learned online today.
That's what I learned online.

....

I learned Jew hatred isn't real.
It just helps them find land to steal.
No matter what you hear some say
No one hates the Jews today.

I learned that Mahmoud never told a lie.
I learned that only civilians die.
I learned that in Israel nobody's free.
That's what the internet said to me.

I learned that the Jews have no place here.
That Israel is America's puppeteer.
I learned that AIPAC rules us all.
As it's said in the “Protocols.”

And that's what I learned online today.
That's what I learned online.

....

I learned that Qassams hurt no one.
I learned bomb shelters can be fun.
I learned that Jesus wasn't a Jew.
And yes I swear that it's all true.

....

I learned that Israel should be gone.
That American aid should be withdrawn.
I learned that Jerusalem is Islamic.
And that Iran should be atomic.

....
I learned that Islamists are my friends.
That Arab entitlement never ends.
I learned that settlers should die for their crimes.
Including babies too sometimes.
