Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

Not a BBC Broadcast: "Where is Your Positive Image? ...Ten Important Scientists in 1000 Years?"

Here's an outspoken Middle Eastern broadcaster, Youssef Al-Husseini, telling his Egyptian audience that in view of atrocities on westerners committed by Muslims round the world it's no wonder that the Islamic world has a bad image.

"Why do they hate us?!" he even says at one point.  "If they didn't, there would be something mentally wrong with them."

And he goes on to observe: "Where is your positive image?" adding scathingly "C'mon ... Ten important scientists in 1000 years?..."

Clearly, this is not a BBC broadcast.

Nor is it likely that Mr Al-Husseini would ever be permitted to speak as he does in the studios of the biased and dhimmitude-inclined British national broadcaster, which is still feeding British schoolkids notions such as these:

For the genuine contributions of medieval Islam to knowledge, all praise.  But let's not practise inverse racism or gild the lily or belittle and disparage Western civilisation, as the BBC loves to do.

"A Sensitive Topic For Many Muslims": The BBC Hits A New Low

Is there no limit to the depths to which the BBC will sink in its biased reportage concerning Israel?

On its news site currently is a story, that sounds more of a propagandistic beat-up, about Muslim schoolgirls from a Berlin school being "racially abused" on a visit to Holocaust memorials in Poland.

For the BBC, as for much of the Left, the "victimisation" of Muslims, real or imagined, is a topic worthy of the maximum exposure, for Muslims, it seems, are "the new Jews".

Thus the BBC's salivating over the theme that "German Muslim schoolgirls who went on a visit to Holocaust memorials in eastern Poland say they were racially abused by locals during their trip" is almost palpable.

Gratuitous attacks on anyone, irrespective of race or creed, are unconscionable and despicable.

But what the blazes does the following statement have to do with the report in question?

"The Holocaust is a sensitive topic for many Muslims because Jewish survivors settled in British mandate Palestine, on land which later became part of the state of Israel"
Not for the BBC, so far as I'm aware, frank reportage about Muslim antisemitism as seen in the many Al Quds Day hate-fests in European cities, including London (as I have mentioned in several recent posts) and Berlin (see below the new demographics where once the jackboot strutted):

Yep.  There they teach hatred of Israel young:

David Singer: Trump, Kushner, Greenblatt Flirt With Phantom Palestinian Authority

Here's the latest article by Sydney lawyer and international affairs analyst David Singer.

He writes:

President Trump has made a poor start in attempting to broker an end to the Jewish-Arab conflict by initially engaging with the “Palestinian Authority” – an entity that no longer legally exists.

Trump’s White House communique on 21 June highlights his glaring tactical error:
“Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner, Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt, and United States Consul General in Jerusalem Donald Blome met today in Ramallah with President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority and his senior advisors.”
The Office of the Historian in the State Department faithfully records the creation of the Palestinian Authority under “Milestones in the History of US Foreign Relations” (Milestones):
“On September 13, 1993, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Negotiator Mahmoud Abbas signed a Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements, commonly referred to as the “Oslo Accord,” at the White House. Israel accepted the PLO as the representative of the Palestinians, and the PLO renounced terrorism and recognized Israel’s right to exist in peace. Both sides agreed that a Palestinian Authority (PA) would be established and assume governing responsibilities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip over a five-year period.”
However on 3 January 2013 Abbas unilaterally signed the Palestinian Authority’s death certificate when issuing the following Decree:
“Official documents, seals, signs and letterheads of the Palestinian National Authority official and national institutions shall be amended by replacing the name ‘Palestinian National Authority’ whenever it appears by the name ‘State of Palestine’ and by adopting the emblem of the State of Palestine.”
Quite bizarrely, the Palestinian Authority’s 2013 demise was never recorded in Milestones.

The reason was only made clear on 9 May 2017 when the Office of the Historian reported it had retired Milestones which was no longer being maintained or expanded.

The Office explained that it had completed a review of its online offerings in Milestones and concluded that extensive resources would be needed to revise and expand its publication of any further developments in the subject matters dealt with up to 2000 to meet the Office’s standards for accuracy and comprehensiveness. The timing of this announcement came just six days after the White House visit by “President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority”.

Indeed the full terms of the Abbas Decree  – introduced with “minimal ceremony or fanfare” – can only be found to my knowledge in an article written by John Whitbeck  – identified as having been:
“in Madrid in October 1991 to contribute ideas for the Palestinian speeches delivered at the conference which launched the "peace process," in Cairo in April/May 1994 as a legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team which negotiated the Gaza/Jericho Withdrawal Agreement (the first "post-Oslo" agreement) with Israel and near Camp David in July 2000, when the "peace process" effectively ended, to be available to provide legal advice on any documents which emerged from the Arafat/Barak/Clinton summit.”
Whitbeck summarises the effect of the Abbas Decree:
“By this decree, the Palestinian Authority, created for a five-year interim period pursuant to the Oslo Declaration of Principles signed on the White House lawn in September 1993, has been absorbed and replaced by the State of Palestine, proclaimed in November 1988, recognized diplomatically by 131 of the 193 UN member states and supported in the recent General Assembly vote by an additional 28 states which have not yet formally recognized it diplomatically.”
Whitbeck’s article does not smack of “fake news”.

Either the Palestinian Authority was absorbed and replaced in 2013 or it still exists in 2017.

Flirting with phantoms is the height of folly and extremely foolish.

Israel-Demonising Priest Addresses Al Quds Day Crowd Down Under (videos)

Pro-Iran Sydney-based Anglican priest Father Dave Smith is an antipodean member of the International Board of Reference of pro-Iran Stephen Sizer's new Israel-demonising vehicle Peacemaker Moderators.

Last year Smith described the Iranian-sponsored Hate Fest that is Al Quds Day as "a day when God brings us together ... an intrinsically religious event" and regretted that he could not attend Melbourne's Al Quds Day rally in person.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBh4q4JPWoE

This year Smith was star speaker at the Al Quds Day rally in Melbourne, ranting and raving against the Zionist Entity before a crowd of appreciative Israel-haters gathered outside the usual venue for anti-Israel love-ins of this kind, the State Library of Victoria.

His speech was temporarily interrupted by raucous cries of "Down Down Israel!!!" (a cry replicated on placards held by Israel-haters on hand) and followed by equally raucuous cries of "From the River to the Sea ..."

Wonderfully Wise Ms Wilson, plus The Frenzied Pharmacist & Other Fizzogs

First, before we look at the foolishness below, here is, in high resolution video, is British terror victim Kay Wilson's magbificently outstanding speech indicting the capitulation of the British political establishment (as seen in certain legislation) to the haters who  have been permitted to hold the disgusting Al Quds Day march (see my previous post):

(Israelly Cool video, acknowledging footage by Rebel Media and Sussex Friends of Israel)

Boy, can London pharmacist and local Al Quds Day supremo Nazim Ali jump! He won't be putting on any calories all the time he inveighs against the Zionist Entity in this frenzied manner:

The above is a still from the Alex Seymour video below, in which, among other delights, we see a Jewish kid in a red cap being manhandled by marchers ("Arrest the fascist!" "Fucking bastard!"), and familiar anti-Israel warhorses Mick Napier, Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi and Sandra Watfa (the lady with the powerful lungs and beautiful hair) spewing their usual invective

More footage:

Mrs Wimborne-Idrissi and the nuts from Neturei Karta were not the only Jews at the parade where the flag of the antisemitic terror group Hezbollah was flying high and in profusion; squint closely and who do we observe in this shot but (in the baseball cap) the little lady of "Jewish heritage" who frequents "Kick Israel Out of FIFA" demos.

Now, where have I seen this Neturei Karta nut, fist raised against the Zionist Entity, up close and personal with Nazir Ali?

Oh, yes, of course.  At Tooting recently for an event involving an Iftar meal, "Free Palestine" badge in lapel.

And the owner of the back of that head?  I'd know that straight spikey coiffure anywhere.

Yes, it belongs to this chap, one Stephen Sizer, pictured denouncing Israel at the (sparsely attended) event:

The BUF With A Different Face: London's tolerated Jew-baiters

The smiling Israel-hater on the right of the picture at left, and in full Israel-denouncing flood below, is, well, you really don't need me to introduce you, do you?

You may, however, not be quite so well-acquainted with the Israel-hater standing next to Stephen Sizer.

He's Nazim Ali, a pharmacist and director of the so-called “Advocacy Group” of the UK Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC). He appears to be the master of ceremonies of choice at London's toxic Al Quds Day rallies, the Iran-sponsored hate fest which seems to be becoming ever more overtly antisemitic each year.

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYInkVkBjhI

Back in 2012 it fell to Mr Ali to welcome to the rostrum the following enthusiastic quartet of hardened Israel-demonisers to perform their rabble-rousing against the Zionist entity each in turn.

Unreconstructed old Trotskyite, now leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn:

Incorrigible pro-Iran Anglican enfant terrible Sizer:

Loquacious Irish anti-Israel agitator Sean Clinton:

Demagogic Scottish PSC chief Mick Napier, like Sizer a frequent guest on Iran's propaganda channel Press TV:

At this year's Al Quds day rally in London, Mr Ali's own intemperate demagoguery was in full decibel force.

Addled by the presence of a courageous group of men and women proudly holding Israeli flags, who slowed the hate parade as it snaked its evil way along Regent Street, Hezbollah flags flying as usual (despite a plea to London mayor Sadiq Khan and others in authority that flying the terrorist flag be banned) and even managed to halt it until coralled by Mr Plod, Mr Ali resorted to racism raw and rude inveighing
"Babykillers ... Occupation ... It's in their genes ... European alleged Jews ... Zionists are not Jews ..."
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzKKZ_1at5A

As reported by the Jewish Chronicle, inter alia:
'....  Mr Ali whipped up the 1,000 anti-Israel fanatics attending the march with a series of chants blaming the Grenfell Tower tragedy on “Zionism”.
He also called for Israel’s annihilation, and accused the Israel Defence Force of being a “terrorist organisation that murdered Palestinians, Jews and British soldiers.” [Emphasis added, here and below]
Mr Ali stayed at the head of the marchers ... for the two hours it took for the parade to make its way through central London to Grosvenor Square, Using a loud-hailer to lead them in a stream of anti-Israel abuse.  \
At one point he spotted pro-Israel counter-demonstrators carrying Israeli flags.
He ordered the march to halt, insisting it would not move on until the “Zionist flag” was removed. He said: “We are fed up of the Zionists. We are fed up of their rabbis. We are fed of their synagogues. We are fed up of their supporters.”
Screaming into the microphone, Mr Ali guided the crowd in a chant of: “Judaism – yes. Zionism – no. The state of Israel must go.”
It was just as the march was about to set off that Mr Ali walked towards a small group of pro-Israeli demonstrators and began singing: “Bye, bye Zionists.”
He then made his remarks linking the Grenfell Tower tragedy to Zionism, adding: “These people do not know what justice is because it’s their supporters who are supporting the Tory Party, that’s who they are. Zionists who give money to the Tory Party to kill people in high rise blocks."
Mr Ali turned to the large police presence and said: “I am requesting that the police watch those trouble-makers over there. They will try to incite. That’s what they are good at causing violence. Do not react to the killers of British soldiers.”
He also repeatedly drew attention to the presence of a handful of members of the Jewish anti-Israel Neturei Karta group, praising as being “true” Jews.
He added: “Because these rabbis don’t kill people, because these rabbis  don’t murder people, they are told they are traitors. Because Zionism is a fascist, evil ideology. It is an evil ideology to its core – that’s what Zionism is. That is why they killed British soldiers in order to get their country.”
During the march Mr Ali also claimed “Zionists” were supporters of Isis.
He said: ”Isis are being treated in their hospitals. Isis are being supported in the occupied Golan. Everyone knows that  Zionist Israel and Isis  are the same. They are brothers in arms.“
The Jewish Chronicle notes that the IHRC
Anti-Israel activists rejoice
'has repeatedly called for the repeal of much UK terror legislation – including the government’s Prevent strategy.
The Community Security Trust yesterday condemned Mr Ali’s comments linking Zionism to the Grenfell Towers fire as “grotesque.”
Lord Polak CBE, Conservative Friends Of Israel’s Honorary President wrote to Home Secretary Amber Rudd to express concern over the Hezbollah flag at Sunday’s march and  called on the Metropolitan Police to charge those found in “direct contravention” of Section 13 of the Terrorism Act (2000).
The UK currently proscribes Hezbollah’s so-called ‘military wing’, while the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, the Arab League, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and Israel proscribe the terrorist organisation in its entirety.
The Metropolitan Police and the Home Office have been asked for comment....'

For more on this be sure to see the the splendid coverage (with photographs) by the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) here

The CAA observes, inter alia:
'In the wake of the terrorist attacks in London and Manchester, just as the government has promised a crackdown on extremism and terrorism, the red carpet has been rolled out for hundreds of supporters of Hizballah in central London today.
The brave volunteers of our Demonstration and Event Monitoring Unit went into the thick of the pro-Hizballah supporters to capture evidence, whilst police officers looked on inertly.
Some of the people at a splendid counter-rally
Marchers draped themselves in Hizballah flags bearing a dagger and a raised fist clenching an assault rifle, and organisers handed out flags for those who had not brought their own. The organising charity even distributed placards emblazoned with the slogan: “We are all Hizballah”. As the marchers claimed that Zionists were responsible for ISIS and even the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower, the Metropolitan Police Service refused to make arrests or even accept reports of hate crimes when approached by members of the public, with one Inspector even claiming that Hizballah flags belong to a legitimate “state” instead of a terrorist organisation. Terrifyingly, demonstrators even attached Hizballah flags to children whilst police looked on.
However, supporters of Hizballah did not have the streets to themselves. As they marched down iconic Regent Street, their path was blocked by anti-terrorist protesters chanting “Terrorists” and playing Jewish music (they had come prepared with a saxophonist). The police however suddenly spurred into action, with vans of officers arriving within seconds to start demanding that the anti-terrorist protesters move out of the way, with reports of pushing and shoving.
The brazen display of support for a genocidal antisemitic terrorist group was met with inaction, but opposition by members of the public was swiftly rounded upon.
Outside the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square, marchers were addressed by figures including Mick Napier, Chair of the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, who was convicted in March of aggravated trespass over allegations of intimidating bank staff at a demonstration against investment by Barclays Bank in an Israeli company. Campaign Against Antisemitism will analyse the excitable speeches....
Hizballah is clear that it seeks the genocide of Jews worldwide, committing terrorist atrocities from Bangkok to Buenos Aires to Burgas. As Britain mourns those we have so recently lost to Islamist terrorism, the Metropolitan Police Service and Charity Commission permitted Hizballah supporters to mount a show of force through the heart of London. This is the reality of the supposed crackdown on extremism and terrorism. Since the authorities intend to take no action, it now falls to us to ensure that there are consequences for those who organised a pro-terrorist show of strength through the heart of London today. We will also be reviewing our legal options for holding the authorities to account over their utterly despicable failure to act.'
In response to yesterday's attack on a mosque at London's Finsbury Park, Theresa May has wasted no time in declaring:
"... It is a reminder that terrorism, extremism and hatred take many forms and our determination to tackle them must be the same, whoever is responsible.
As I said here two weeks ago, there has been far too much tolerance of extremism in our country over many years - and that means extremism of any kind, including Islamophobia.
That is why this government will act to stamp out extremist and hateful ideology - both across society and on the internet, so it is denied a safe space to grow.
It is why we will be reviewing our counter-terrorism strategy and ensuring that police and security services have the powers they need.
And it is why we will establish a new Commission for Countering Extremism as a statutory body to help fight hatred and extremism in the same way as we have fought racism - because this extremism is every bit as insidious and destructive to our values and our way of life and we will stop at nothing to defeat it.
Today's attack falls at a difficult time in the life of this city, following on from the attack on London Bridge two weeks ago - and of course the unimaginable tragedy of Grenfell Tower last week, on which I will chair another meeting of ministers and officials later today.
But what we have seen throughout - whether in the heroism of the ordinary citizens who fought off the attackers at London Bridge, the unbreakable resolve of the residents in Kensington, or this morning the spirit of the community that apprehended this attacker - is that this is an extraordinary city of extraordinary people.
It is home to a multitude of communities that together make London one of the greatest cities on earth.
Diverse, welcoming, vibrant, compassionate, confident and determined never to give in to hate.
These are the values that define this city. These are the values that define this country. These are the values that this government will uphold.
These are the values that will prevail."[Emphasis added]
Words that ring horribly hollow in the wake of Al Quds Day's incitement to antisemitism and the tolerance of extremists glorying in the hateful Hezbollah flag.

With this latest march the Al Quds Day organisers and their lily-livered enablers have descended into the very heart of darkness.  Moseley's British Union of Fascists, when they marched through the Jewish East End during the Devil's Decade of the 1930s, had at least the excuse of not knowing the ultimate depths to which antisemitism can lead.  Today's antisemites have no such excuse.  Nor do the authorities who tolerate this grotesque Jew-baiting and turn a blind eye to it in the name of the Appeasement of our time.

To quote Sapan Maini-Thompson here:
'.... A parade which features explicit racial incitement and sectarian militarism raises challenging questions concerning the legal limits of free speech. Firstly, it is remarkable that anti-Semitic exhortation is given police protection through Oxford Street. Secondly, it highlights a hole in extant anti-terror legislation. While the military wing of Hezbollah is proscribed in the UK, those adorning Hezbollah garb conveniently stapled themselves with leaflets expressing their solidarity with the political wing. This technicality is surely falsified by reality.
As Karl Popper astutely argued, ‘Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.’

David Singer: Deceiving Trump and Tillerson has consequences for Abbas

From this site
Here's the latest article by Sydney lawyer and international affairs analyst David Singer.

He writes:

President Trump and Secretary of State Tillerson are quickly learning that tough talk is needed to rein in Mahmoud Abbas – who has deceived Trump and Tillerson twice in the last month.
1. Abbas sweet-talked Trump at the White House on 3 May claiming:
“we are raising our youth, our children, our grandchildren on a culture of peace.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly responded on 4 May:
“I heard President Abbas yesterday say that Palestinians teach their children peace. That’s unfortunately not true. They name their schools after mass murders of Israelis and they pay terrorists”
Trump blasted Abbas in Bethlehem on 23 May:
“You tricked me in D.C.! You talked there about your commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me your involvement in incitement”
 2. Tillerson too was made to look stupid after he had told a Senate hearing on 13 June that he had been informed that Abbas intended ceasing the policy of payments to terrorists.
Tillerson’s claim was immediately repudiated by Issa Qaraqe, the head of the PA prisoners affairs department:
“This is not true and this statement is an aggression against the Palestinian people”
Such duplicity does not augur well for creating an environment hoping to end the Jewish-Arab conflict.
Straight talking from Trump is needed to:
1. Bury the negotiating process between Abbas and Netanyahu that torpedoed the attempts by President Obama and Secretaries of State Clinton and Kerry to end the conflict between 2009 and 2016.
2. Terminate the artificially contrived framework misnamed “the two-state solution” within which previous negotiations have been conducted between Abbas and Netanyahu with total disregard for the origins of the conflict between Jews and Arabs.
That conflict began with the creation by the League of Nations of the Mandate for Palestine on 24 July 1922 following decisions taken by the Principal Allied Powers at the San Remo Conference and the Treaty of Sevres in 1920 following the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in World War 1.
The League of Nations by unanimous resolution of all member States – including Iran – laid down a formula that would see the reconstitution of the Jewish National Home being restricted to an area comprising no more than 23 per cent of the territory covered by the Mandate
In 1946 an Arab State was created in the remaining 77 per cent of Mandatory Palestine and was renamed “the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan”.
In 1948 Israel was created in 17per cent of the territory of the Mandate whilst the remaining 6 percent – Judea and Samaria, Gaza – was conquered and occupied by Transjordan (renamed Jordan in 1950) and Egypt respectively until their loss to Israel in the 1967 Six Day War.
Arab propaganda has repeatedly and misleadingly claimed that the conflict only began in 1948.
Abbas is but the latest in a long line of failed leaders of the Palestinian Arabs who have rejected all attempts to resolve the conflict based on what was internationally agreed 95 years ago.

Jordan has been exculpated from playing any role in resolving this conflict it was part of from the very inception of the Mandate and which it substantially aggravated between 1948 and 1967.

Trump and Tillerson belong to the old school that uses language whose meaning cannot be misinterpreted.

slideplayer.com
Trifling with the truth in conversations with Trump and Tillerson must have political consequences for Abbas.

Hopefully the days of diplomatic doublespeak and ambiguous language are nearing their end.

Bringing Jordan into any new negotiations to finally determine the allocation of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) – an area smaller than Delaware  – is the key to Trump pulling off the deal of the century.

"Israel!' He Yelled (London fire blood libel; updated)

In the wake of the horrific fire that destroyed the Grenfell Tower in London and claimed an untold number of lives, an angry protest in which members of the Socialist Workers party rush to make political capital out of tragedy and inflammatory speeches occur.

Watch for the white guy in the white t-shirt at the very start of the video, with leftist literature in his hand.  Do your ears hear what mine hear?

If so, shocking as it is, it's not an isolated incident.

There are, of course, plenty of obscene allegations in the dung-congested bowels of the internet claiming that Israel was responsible for 9/11.  And the Grenfell Tower tragedy has prompted similar vile claims, as a quick tour around news sites that permit comments below the line will show.
