Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

"Spartans, Prepare for Glory!": A Memento of Marrickville (video)

Here's Father Dave, the Anglican Boycott Derangement Syndromer of Marrickville, throwing his hands around and using hyperbole to exhort the "militia" to battle on:

Turbulent priest though he evidently is, the good clergyman's attitude to the truly oppressive and cruel regimes of the Islamic world seems for some inexplicable reason to wallow in obscurity.

  1. Turbulent priest? Now we need 2 knights... and I'm certain the space in front of the altar at Canterbury Cathedral is vacant! Maybe do a 2 in 1 job and include the Imam of Canterbury!

  2. I wonder how well Father Dave would fare, walking the streets of Gaza City.

Yes, let's end the occupation ASAP, but let's not be ignorant of the greater forces at play and the intentions of the actors. BDS people, at least some, want to help, but they make it worse, and cannot even fathom.

  3. This is nothing. The first speech I heard of his a month or so ago, was worst.

This is a man, calls himslf a man of the cloth, yet he posts an illegally obtained video on his Youtube site.

Permission for recording of any sort, was denied

This was taken on a mobile phone, in the row in front of where I was sitting and slightly to my left.
