"Islam is a Religion of War"

Madame Valérie Boyer is a right-of-centre deputy in the French National Assembly.  Here she is on Twitter, regarding the possibility that 130 Jihadists who left France to join Islamic State will be allowed back into the country.

Watch her in this English-subtitled video posted by Canadian blogger Vlad Tepes.  It includes Interior Minister Christophe Castaner's dismissive and seemingly arrogant reply to the lady's well-stated fears.

As that brave and perspicacious French intellectual, Guy Millière, a firm friend of Israel, has warned

'.... Radical Islam may be on the defensive, but its offence has not stopped. The main Islamist organizations seem to be waiting for the moment to attack again....

Islamist jihadist groups are still active in Libya, where they control human trafficking activities and infiltrate their operations among immigrants trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe. The police continue to seize components used to make explosive devices and have thwarted attempted attacks on European soil, but videos with instructions are still circulating.

It is important to emphasize that radical Islamists use other means of power than terrorism to gain ground. The Muslim Brotherhood, the main Sunni Islamist organization, has never rejected violence but says it prefers the da'wa (proselytism, infiltration, and influence) to achieve power in the Muslim world and beyond. Sayid Qutb, their leader in the 1950s, said that the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood was to "establish the Islamic regime" wherever possible, by "any means"....  The Muslim Brothers ... continue to have the support of Turkey and Qatar, and Hamas was founded as the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The latest reports indicate that the members of the Muslim Brotherhood can now turn to an affiliate network in more than 70 countries. They maintain their hope of winning throughout the Muslim world, but their main objective seems to be the transformation of the West.

The leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood seem to think that if the West falls, the rest of the world will fall too. In the US, the Muslim Brothers have unofficial branches, hiding, but very active; These include the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)....

It is still allowed to criticize Islam in Western Europe, but all who dares, with some exceptions, such as Éric Zemmour in France or Thilo Sarrazin in Germany, are almost totally ignored by the mainstream media. ...  Hamed Abdel-Samad, a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood who now lives in Germany, is the author of Islamic Fascism. Abdel-Samad says what Western European leaders refuse to see: "Islam is a religion of war." In a recent interview, he added that when a non-Muslim country is strong, "Islam may end up agreeing to live together", b Abdel-Samad says what Western European leaders refuse to see: "Islam is a religion of war." In a recent interview, he added that when a non-Muslim country is strong, "Islam may end up agreeing to live together", but when a non-Muslim country is passive "war appears" on the horizon. This war, he continued, "can be violent. It can be non-violent. Western European countries show all the symptoms of being passive....'

The Islamist Enemy Within, & Christians Without

On learning that 86-year-old Father Jacques Hamel had murdered in his own church in a village near Rouen by Islamist demons who stormed in during Mass and slit his throat, the president of the World Jewish Congress issued a heartfelt message of condolence:

“This morning, my thoughts and prayers are with the victims of yet another atrocious attack, and with the good people of France who sadly have become so familiar with the reality of terrorism in recent months.

Alas, there is no respite. Every day, these terrorists make it abundantly clear to the world that nothing is sacred to them, that they will not shy away from any execrable affront to the most basic values of our society.

Let’s be clear: this is not a war between religions, but between good and evil. We must stand as one in the face of this great threat. We must not be intimidated, but cherish our freedom, including the freedom to worship. We must speak out and not be silent. We must defend each other, and we must look after one another: one religious community after the other, one country after the other. This evil scourge won’t be defeated unless we are united in our resolve to defeat it.”

 'Fr Jacques Hamel, murdered ... by Islamists in Normandy ... in his life would have seen his country transformed, from the Occupation to the Thirty Golden Years and through to this modern unhappy age. I can’t imagine that a young priest in the age of the Piuses would have expected to end his life in such a manner, near to where Joan of Arc was martyred, but then Europeans are getting used to things that a few decades ago would have been absurd.

After the war, Europeans thought they could escape history, and retire to a secular, progressive world in which historical conflicts of identity would be a thing of the past. But instead of fascism and communism, even older, more retrograde ideologies have sprung up, and history goes on. 

Christianity might be dying of indifference in western Europe but elsewhere it remains a living part of history, and that story includes persecution. Being a priest or a religious remains a dangerous task – earlier this year four nuns in Yemen were murdered, while a number of priests and bishops have been killed in Syria; likewise in Iraq, where some 60 churches were bombed during the conflict, the worst incident being the 2010 Our Lady of Salvation massacre where 52 men, women and children were slaughtered by a then little known outfit called the Islamic State of Iraq. The survivors were given asylum in France, which has always been especially generous towards eastern Christians.

Christians in other parts of the world will not have been surprised at the blood spilt in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen. Some feel that we, in the West, have turned our backs on their sufferings. “We feel forgotten and isolated,” complained Louis Sako, the Chaldean Archbishop of Baghdad: “We sometimes wonder, if they kill us all, what would be the reaction of Christians in the West? Would they do something then?”

While estimates of the global scale of religious slaughter and harassment differ wildly, there is enough evidence to suggest that religious persecution is widespread and growing. The Open Doors charity is a respected and relatively cautious chronicler of persecution and it estimates that an average of 322 Christians are killed every month as a direct consequence of their faith, while 214 churches or Christian properties are demolished, burnt down or in some way destroyed. Overall, Open Doors records, Christians are subject to 772 acts of violence — including beatings, abductions, rapes, arrests or forced marriages — each month.

We are largely familiar with the problems that Christians face in the Middle East. A century ago 14 per cent of all people in the region were Christians. Today it’s just 4 per cent.....'

They should be followed up by this one, by Lawrence A. Franklin, over at the Gatestone Institute, summarised thus:

 'Jesus warned his Apostles that men of faith would kill them, thinking they had done God a favor. Pope Francis, in the Vatican, referred to this killing as "an absurd murder." He could not be more wrong. This was a purposeful act of war against Judeo-Christian civilization. The murder of Father Jacques has great meaning. Our would-be replacements are telling us, "it is time for you to leave the stage of history."

This most recent murder is additional evidence that the old France is dying.' 

This too, by Yves Michaud, also over at Gatestone, summarised this,

'Europeans have delegated to the State the exclusive right to use violence against criminals. But Europeans, especially in France and Germany, are discovering that some kind of "misunderstanding" seems actually to be at work. Their State, the one that has the monopoly on violence, does not want to be at war with its Islamist citizens and residents. 

Worse, the State gives off the feeling that it is afraid of its Muslim citizens. "The concept of the rule of law means that the citizen is protected from the arbitrariness of the State. ... Currently, the rule of law protects the attackers above all". — Yves Michaud, French author and philosopher.'

 And this one, by Raymond Ibrahim, who warns:

 '....Mere Islam ... is responsible for the ongoing terrorization of the West.

If you doubt this, simply turn to a recent study. It found that Muslims of all sects, races, and sociopolitical circumstances—not just "ISIS"—are responsible for persecuting Christians in 41 of the 50 worst nations to be Christian in: Shia Iran is the ninth worst nation, "Wahhabi" Saudi Arabia is 14th, while "moderate" countries like Malaysia and Indonesia are ranked 30 and 43 respectively.

The common denominator in all these nations is Islam—without qualifier.

.... Ugly or not, this truth, that mere Islam—not "ISIS," "Salafism," "Wahhabism," or "Shiism"—promotes hate for and violence against non-Muslims will never be remedied until those in positions of leadership first acknowledge it. And, with the notable exception of Donald Trump, they are very far from doing so.'

As Melanie McDonough observes here:

'We’ve already got self-censorship when it comes to reporting attacks by Muslim refugees [sic] ...  in Germany and Scandinavia, and an almost comical reluctance anywhere in Europe to identify Islamist attacks as such – until IS takes credit for them, even the work of freelances. Plainly we have to guard against language that would demonise an entire community, but within that reasonable limit, we must require both politicians and public service broadcasters to talk plainly. And when Muslim extremists slit the throat of a priest in his own church, we’re looking at religiously motivated murder, entirely of a piece with the same religiously motivated murder of Christians and others being carried out in the Middle East. Shall we say so?

In the Australian Murdoch-owned newspaper the Herald-Sun on Sunday, a good article by conservative columnist Miranda Devine, who absolutely nailed it when she wrote that the agenda of the ABC (the BBC's counterpart Down Under)

"is to deny the threat of Islamist terrorism, to engender complacency, and avoid confronting the fact that Islamists are bringing their war to the West.

 It is cultural relativists telling us we have no right to feel aggrieved by the attacks on Brussels or Paris or Sydney or Melbourne, because there are more terrorist atrocities in the Middle East and Africa."

With those familiar mendacious maps

As she so rightly says,

"there's a reason our civilised Judaeo-Christian societies are peaceful, compared with broken Islamic states that are spawning a murderous ideology that threatens the world.  Our culture is superior and we want to keep it that way.

But the Left are still clutching at straws to deny the undeniable.  As the blood of innocents fills the streets of Europe ... the very people who weakened our defences are now pretending there isn't a problem."

Ms Devine quotes from Belgian Senator Alain Destexhe's "chilling article" in La Libre Belgique last week,  in which he describes how the long-serving former Mayor of Molenbeek, Philippe Moureaux,

"ushered in a generation of Muslim radicals, mainly from Morocco or Turkey, who kept him in power and who silenced critics by calling them Islamophobic....

Fundamentalist Salafist imams and teachers funded by Saudi Arabia were imported to spread ideological poison.  Molenbeek, now more than 40 per cent Muslim, became Belgium's fastest growing place....Molenbeek gradually became an area of lawlessness, where agents of the water or electricity services must be accompanied by police, where almost all restaurants are closed during Ramadan, when 'dirty Jew' has become a common insult... and where blondes and those who wear short skirts are treated as whores or sluts."

No-go areas. Islamic antisemitism. Contempt for and attacks on women.  That has a familiar ring, of course.

Five years ago an Israeli television crew exposed what is going on in Belgium and other provinces of Eurabia, and what the Islamists' ultimate goal is, in this compelling  44-minute video, from which my header is just one of many telling and troubling quotations (hat tip: Vlad Tepes blog):

The media made much today of the "football hooligans" who invaded a peaceful demonstration in central Brussels.

But I doubt many have shown this Islamic troublemaker, yelling "Palestine!" over and over (hat tip: Vlad Tepes again):

Like fellow Herald-Sun columnist Andrew Bolt in his Monday column today, she cited the Belgian ambassador to Australia, Jean-Luc Bodson, as one of those naive fools.  But their numbers are legion.
Why, far from learning what not to do, even the Pope, in his Easter message, urges Christian Europe to, in effect, lay down and die, and the BBC laps it up!

Sheer  hypocrisy from the wretch who opened Britain's gates to all and sundry, irrespective of their compatibility with Western values:

And those who would aid and abet the demise of a once-great nation.  I wonder how many of these leftists and anti-nationalists also march against Israel.  A rather high proportion, I'd wager.

But as Europe again experiences Islamic Terror, will Europeans now be more sympathetic towards Israel?

Sadly, if the aftermath of 9/11 is anything to go by, I doubt it.

Via Asylum Boats, Islamic State Has the Potential to Thrust Itself Into The Heart of Europe, warns David Singer

Here is the latest article by Sydney lawyer and international affairs analyst David Singer.  It's entitled "Europe Rapidly Becoming Fertile Recruiting Field For Islamic State" and sounds an urgent warning bell that the "politically correct" would muffle.

Writes David Singer:

Islamic State now has the potential to break out of Syria and Iraq and into the heart of Europe without a shot being fired in anger by the Europeans to repel Islamic State’s stated aims of re-establishing the Caliphate and with it the supremacy of Islam world-wide.

This previously dismissed possibility has become an emerging reality with the record flow of hundreds of thousands of Muslims into Europe by boat in 2014 – seeking asylum as their homes and lives in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan,Yemen and Lebanon have been reduced to rubble by ongoing and continuing conflict over the past four years.

Ironically – and alarmingly – the possibility of some of these asylum seekers already being Islamic State believers – whilst others become potential recruits in pursuing these Islamic State goals – comes at the same time as Europe is actively seeking to restrain its own already radicalised Muslim citizens from leaving its shores to join Islamic State forces in its ongoing campaign of territorial conquest throughout much of the Arab world.

What was thought to be fantasy just twelve months ago has been turned on its head with the recent publication of the following statistics by Eurostat – the statistical office of the European Union situated in Luxembourg – whose task is to provide the European Union with statistics at European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions within the European Union (EU):

1. Asylum seekers from Syria seeking refuge in the 28 EU countries rose from 49,980 in 2013 to 122,115 in 2014 – which equated to 20% of the total of asylum seekers from all non-member EU countries.

2. In the same period asylum seekers from Iraq jumped from 10,740 to 21,310 whilst Afghani asylum seekers rose sharply from 26125 to 41370.

3. Of the 68400 Syrians actually granted protection status in the EU – more than 60% were recorded in two Member States: Germany (25,700) and Sweden (16,800).

Many of these desperate asylum seekers become possible candidates for being persuaded that their lives have been turned upside down by Europe’s failed policies in Syria and Iraq and that their hopes for real salvation rest in actively supporting the objectives of Islamic State.

Europe’s failure to prevent more than 200,000 deaths that have occurred in Syria and Iraq alone in the past four years with the destruction of many towns and villages into heaps of rubble and the consequent displacement of millions of Syrians and Iraqis – both internally and externally – is an easily told story that will gain much sympathy with many of these asylum seekers – even as they are being welcomed and absorbed into their European host countries.

France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom are part of a group called the London 11 – whose other members are Egypt, Jordan,Qatar,Saudi Arabia, Turkey,United Arab Emirates and America.

The London 11 has since 2012 expressed its support for the Syrian opposition in its attempt to rid Syria of President Assad. Supplying arms and financial support has clearly proved insufficient to halt the carnage

On 10 November 2014 Senior Officials of the London 11 met with Syrian National Coalition Leader Hadi al-Bahra.

The best the London 11 could do was:

“demonstrate collective and united support for the moderate opposition led by the National Coalition, as they fight a two-front war resisting the brutality of the Assad regime and fighting extremists including Daesh (Islamic State)”

Many European countries form part of the American-led coalition which has also failed to effectively halt the progress of Islamic State.

Europe remains a sitting duck whilst it passively sits on the sidelines uttering pious platitudes.

Interfaith Dialogue? "A Trap of Satan ... There Should Be An Ideological Conflict To Present Islam As Alternative To Their Bogus Culture "

In London, a number of people supportive of the notion of "interfaith dialogue" come together:

Not everyone is convinced of the efficacy of such dialogue, however: for example, in this recent post, blogger Edgar Davidson, for example, pours scorn on the Board of Deputies' huge expenditure on interfaith initiatives.

Sceptics and cynics, who warn that Islam is a supremacist ideology that aims to replace not only existing faiths but the existing order, can point with a "told you so!" to Copenhagen imam Hajj Saeed, who in the following speech made the day before the terror attacks in that city,  rejects the concept of "interfaith dialogue".  Its aim, he warns, is to draw Muslims away from their faith. Muslims should aim instead, he rants, to promote "Islam as an alternative to their [the western infidels'] bogus culture" which (wait for it!) reduces people to the level of beasts.

"The people responsible for interfaith dialogue want to make all religion equal. They want to equate truth and falsehood, between heresy and deception [sic], between the religion of the Prophet Mohammed and man-made laws, legislated by these criminals in order to rule the world....

The notion of interfaith dialogue is nothing new. This is a malignant idea of which we must be aware, in order to avoid falling into the traps of Satan and his followers, who advocate such dialogue....

Our Prophet Mohammad had Jewish neighbours in Al-Medina. Did he call for closer relations, harmony, and dialogue with them, in the manner of the UN and of those who call to reconciliation truth and falsehood? Or did he call upon them to worship Allah? When they violated their pledge and did not accept this call – well, you know what he did to them. It appears in his Sira. He waged war against the Jews....

Do you know what interfaith dialogue means? Simply put, it is the creation of a new religion and of new concepts that will be shared by religions considered to be monotheistic. The purpose is to draw the Muslims away from their true religion....

All people are called to convert to Islam, and anyone who refrains from doing so, after having been presented with evidence, is an infidel, without a doubt.

Allah has made laws that regulate our relations with them, if we live in their countries. The so-called interfaith dialogue is not part of these laws. Things are entirely different. There should be an ideological conflict to refute their argument of falsehood, and to present Islam as alternative to their bogus culture, which has hurled them into the abyss of depravity and corruption, and which has reduced them from humanity to the level of beasts." Oh dear, all really is not well in the land that recently voted to recognise a Palestinian state.  It seems that it's not only in Sweden's second city, Malmo, long known as a centre of Islamist anti-Jewish activity, that the negative consequences of mass Muslim immigration are being heavily felt.

Here's Israeli academic Dr Mordechai Kedar, an Arab studies specialist celebrated for his tough talking about the history and status of Jerusalem (see, for instance, here), talking in the United States a few months ago, and stressing that although many in America are oblivious, the jihadism that's pitted against Israel ("Israel is surrounded by jihadists") is also targetting the United States ("The war is not only on Israel; the war is also here" and what has been happening in Europe will be replicated in America, which is lagging fifteen years behind Europe).  In the second video he explains the concept of immigrarion in Islam, which he says is carried out "inch by inch, town by town" in order to impose Islam on the host countries; "If America does not watch it, it will be in the situation Europe is today," and within the lifetimes of most people now living.  If Israel is "sacrificed to appease the crocodile," the crocodile will be ever more hungry.  And unless the Western birthrate rises, we will sentence our civilisation to oblivion :

This is a must-heed speech!

An Egyptian Cleric On Europe's Demographic Doom (video)

Those who followed the 1970s mantra "Zero Population Growth" (see cover at left, dating to 1970) in order to save the planet from environmental disaster, and feminists who decided not to have children at all (frequently expressing contempt and/or pity for those women who did), have unwittingly cost Europe dear, if Muammar Gaddafi (see my post here) and the Egyptian cleric in this video are proved correct.

Not that it does to air anxieties about the Islamic demographic weapon (or even to base opposition to mass immigration into small already overcrowded countries like Britain and Holland on ecological grounds) in front of the kind of 1960s/70s radicals who spawned the "Zero Population Growth" mantra and child-free radical feminism.

Greyer, wrinklier, but certainly not invariably wiser, all too many are likely to have swapped their tie-dyed hippie T-shirts for keffiyehs and to be marching with the "We Are All Hezbollah/Hamas" brigade these days, and to call those who dare to question the colonisation of Europe by persons  (including practising polygamists taking advantage of state benefits) whose agenda is very different from a liberal-progressive and feminist one by the intimidating terms "Islamophobes" and "fascists".
