Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

"Jewish Privilege is ..."

In response to the raw antisemitism on the despicable thread #Jewish Privilege that has been trending on Twitter, a sample of ripostes, including that of Kay Wilson, the British Jew who almost lost her life when attacked by Palestinian Arab terrorists near Beit Shemesh ten years ago.

Also in response, here's a fella with a rather uncomfortable 15 minute lecture for American Jews.

  1. I'm not sure it was a privilege to work incredibly hard and go to school and grad school at night and give up vacations and luxuries so that my kids could graduate college and grad school with no debt to them or me. I'm not sure it was a privilege to pay off 2 mortgages and not take a car loan so that we have almost no debt. I'm not sure it's a privilege to pay exorbitant prices on food in order to keep a kosher home. I wouldn't call those privileges I'd call them sacrifices.

  2. And yet, at least here in America, my fellow Jews still are for gun control and not having the means to defend themselves.

Never Again? Why are most American Jews ignoring history and today's reality?

I carry. I am practicing, and will - as I can afford it - be taking combat classes. My kids are starting out in first-steps shooting.

And my fellow Jews, even as they overwhelmingly decry Trump as a "new Hitler", are willing to cede to the state the sole capability to do violence.

    Jewicidal.
