A Palestine-born Scholar of Islam's Advice for President Trump (video)

"Dear Mr President," begins the following video, an address in the form of an Open Letter by Professor Sami Aldeeb, a much-published Swiss scholar of Islam who happens to be of Palestinian Christian background.

'Your country, like Europe, the region where I come from, and the world are facing the rise of violence in particular by various Islamic terrorist groups. This violence is one of the causes of immigrant waves breaking on the shores of Europe, the US and other countries. In your statements, you highlighted these two issues.

 You  described “radical Islamic terrorism” as an “evil” unseen before, adding that it should be just “eradicated off the face of the earth”: “we gonna end it. It’s time. It’s time right now to end it”. But you have not said how you will achieve this goal. You also called Angela Merkel’s open door policy to refugees a “catastrophic mistake”, saying that Berlin, instead of hosting refugees, would have done better to advocate more for the creation of no-fly zones in Syria in order to protect the local population from the bombing. “The gulf states should have had to pay for them. After all, they have money like hardly anyone else has”.

Let me give you my humble opinion on these two issues.

Regarding radical Islamic terrorism, it is certainly necessary to fight it with weapons, but weapons alone will not suffice. It is also particularly important to eliminate the ideology on which radical Islamic terrorism is based, namely the Islamic ideology. To take adequate action we must call things by their name.

The radical Islamic terrorism is based on the Koran, the Sunnah of Muhammad and the teachings of Islam. Radical Islamic terrorist groups are only putting into practice what universities, Islamic centers, schools and mosques have been teaching for fourteen centuries in all Muslim countries, and even in Western countries, including yours. Egyptian journalists and intellectuals continue to denounce this teaching, which is the source of terrorism that destabilizes Egypt. This teaching is conveyed by mosques, schools and universities of Al-Azhar, the most important religious institution in the Sunni world. Without a radical change of this teaching, it is impossible to end the radical Islamic terrorism. But how to proceed?'

Western leaders who claim that the practices of these terrorist groups have nothing to do with Islam are misled and are in turn misleading their citizens. Terrorists who committed attacks in Europe and in your country went through these prisons, which are real terrorist nurseries."

Oh dear, all really is not well in the land that recently voted to recognise a Palestinian state.  It seems that it's not only in Sweden's second city, Malmo, long known as a centre of Islamist anti-Jewish activity, that the negative consequences of mass Muslim immigration are being heavily felt.

Just read this article, for instance.

The menace of mass Muslim immigration is a sober reality for many of the nations of northern and western Europe, of course, and not least for their Jewish citizens (see here for Sweden's courtship of the Muslim vote) , so we certainly should not gloat.

Here's a fire and brimstone sermon delivered a week ago at the Al-Bayan Mosque in Baqa-Jatt, Israel, by Sheikh Ahmad Badran, who in the midst of his tirade against the "accursed infidel coalition under the command of America" and "the infidels throughout the world" says a couple of begrudgingly nice-ish things about about Jews and Israel.

Don't get too excited by such semi-compliments, though, as he proceeds to declare that "The Islam of the next generation ... will rule the entire world".

"Our struggle will  continue until we establish sharia law throughout the world", this leader of a fanatical and ferocious Afghan group with links to the Taliban and to ISIS tells Al Beeb's world affairs editor John Simpson (who, it must be acknowledged, has shown considerable bravery in going to meet that bloodthirsty lot).

"God willing, we'll go to Palestine, Syria and Iraq to defeat the infidels."

They are among the commenters on a typically courageous and perspicacious article (on the menace posed to all of us by "the black flag of jihad") by the British pundit Douglas Murray that appears today's Daily Express.

In it, Murray, deploring the antisemitism that Operation Protective Edge has unleashed, observes inter alia:

'There are those who think that Israel is somehow the cause of the world’s problems, or that in defending themselves from Islamic extremists Israel is somehow causing Islamic extremism. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The extremists of Hamas are the ideological bedfellows of the extremists of ISIS who are rampaging through Syria and Iraq, crucifying and beheading as they go....

They also share the exact same ideology – if not yet the same means – as those people who were found in Birmingham earlier this year teaching British pupils to hate wider British society and cut themselves off from non-Muslims.

"What About Jihad In Palestine?": Islamic Leader in Londonistan (video)

'Founded in 1997, the mission statement of the Islamic Human Rights Commission on its Charity Commission web page claims that its aim is “To promote human rights and equality and diversity (in particular good race relations) throughout the world for the benefit of the public.“  The style and content of the IHRC’s annual ‘Al Quds Day’ events, along with much of its additional campaigning,  suggest that “good race relations” are in fact far from being its true aim....' observed CiFWatch last year, in a comprehensive critque of the organisation, its incitement to violence, and its leaders. (Read it in all its compelling detail here)

Here's one of those featured in that critique, Massoud Shadjerah, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, addressing the faithful in fire and brimstone manner on Al Quds Day.  Noting that large numbers of Muslims from the West have gone to wage Jihad in Syria, he laments that a similar occurrence has not taken place regarding "Palestine".

Here's Israeli academic Dr Mordechai Kedar, an Arab studies specialist celebrated for his tough talking about the history and status of Jerusalem (see, for instance, here), talking in the United States a few months ago, and stressing that although many in America are oblivious, the jihadism that's pitted against Israel ("Israel is surrounded by jihadists") is also targetting the United States ("The war is not only on Israel; the war is also here" and what has been happening in Europe will be replicated in America, which is lagging fifteen years behind Europe).  In the second video he explains the concept of immigrarion in Islam, which he says is carried out "inch by inch, town by town" in order to impose Islam on the host countries; "If America does not watch it, it will be in the situation Europe is today," and within the lifetimes of most people now living.  If Israel is "sacrificed to appease the crocodile," the crocodile will be ever more hungry.  And unless the Western birthrate rises, we will sentence our civilisation to oblivion :

Blunt Ambition: Radical Islamists State Their Views

'Chanting slogans in favor of the restoration of the Caliphate, the Muslim fundamentalists called on Islamic armies to "march toward Palestine to liberate the Aqsa Mosque and the rest of Palestine."

The fundamentalists also shouted slogans in support of the jihadi terrorists engaged in the fight against Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime.

Baher Saleh, a senior Hizb-ut-Tahrir official, told the crowd that it was time for Muslim armies to "liberate the Aqsa Mosque from the hands of the filthy Jews."
