"What About Jihad In Palestine?": Islamic Leader in Londonistan (video)

'Founded in 1997, the mission statement of the Islamic Human Rights Commission on its Charity Commission web page claims that its aim is “To promote human rights and equality and diversity (in particular good race relations) throughout the world for the benefit of the public.“  The style and content of the IHRC’s annual ‘Al Quds Day’ events, along with much of its additional campaigning,  suggest that “good race relations” are in fact far from being its true aim....' observed CiFWatch last year, in a comprehensive critque of the organisation, its incitement to violence, and its leaders. Here's one of those featured in that critique, Massoud Shadjerah, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, addressing the faithful in fire and brimstone manner on Al Quds Day.  Noting that large numbers of Muslims from the West have gone to wage Jihad in Syria, he laments that a similar occurrence has not taken place regarding "Palestine".

In Londonistan, "We Are All Hezbollah!"

Drawing random cries of "Allahu Akhbar!", Ismail Sincere, described as "artist of the spoken world," takes a swipe at America, Britain, France, and, of course, Israel, before displaying his crowd-pleasing "art" outside the US Embassy in London on "Al Quds Day":

Iranian-born Sheikh Mohammed Saeed Bahmanpour, a UK-based Islamic writer and lecturer who apparently needed "no introduction" to the assemblage, attracts enthusiastic cries of"Allahu Akhbar!",  "We are all Hezbollah!", and wild cheers:

Nothing here as blatantly hostile as this bloodcurdling speech in Toronto, though, despite the sentiments of this Iranian bigwig.

One more:

"Cleanse The Middle East Of This Giant Cancer": The Cry Of "Dirty, Dirty Fascists" in Old London Town

   "We are all Hezbollah!"

   "In our thousands, in our millions, we are all Palestinians"

Well, how better to express appreciation for a beautiful summer's day when out and about in Old London Town?

The seemingly interminable procession seen in that linked video was wending its way from the BBC's headquarters in Portland Place, across Oxford Circus down Regent Street, and turning right near Liberty's and along Maddox Street and Grosvenor Street to its destination, the American Embassy in Grosvenor Square.

I can't find a comprehensive report or a video, but the following is excerpted from the article here by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry's research officer, Julie Nathan:

'Around 150 people attended, plus a police contingent of over a dozen officers.

An Israeli flag at the rally had the words “Delete Zionists” painted on the blue stripes, and the Star of David was circled and crossed out.

Inciting people to “Delete Zionists” is a call not only for the destruction of Israel, but for the destruction of Israelis, and of those who support Israel and the right to self-determination of the Jewish people. It is a call for the annihilation of millions of Jews, in Israel and the diaspora. It is a call against people, not against a belief or a state.

The protestors gathered outside Arncliffe railway station and after several speeches, the crowd marched to Arncliffe Park while chanting “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”, “Down down Israel”, and “Netanyahu you will see, Palestine will be free.”

Let no-one be fooled into thinking that the protest was simply against Israel’s “occupation” of the West Bank. Designating the whole of the territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, which includes Israel’s heartland, as “Palestine” is a statement against Israel’s very existence.

[Veteran Israel critic] Father Dave Smith, of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Dulwich Hill, addressed the crowd in the park, most of them Shia Muslims from the nearby Arncliffe mosque.

He stated that “the greatest crime ongoing in the world today is the oppression of the Palestinian people. From 1948 until now, the Palestinian occupation continues. How has humanity allowed this injustice to go on for so long? The injustice of the Palestinian occupation stains the whole world with the blood of the innocent… We call on governments to remove this stain.”

Just listen to his words:  “the greatest crime ongoing in the world”, “from 1948 until now”, “this stain”. He was saying that all of Israel, not the West Bank, is an “occupation”, a “crime”, a “stain”. 

He was inciting people to hate and destroy Israel. Yet he began his speech by saying that he did not agree with those calling for Israel’s destruction. That sentiment rings hollow in light of his subsequent rhetoric.

The MC for the event demanded “We want the Zionists out of Muslim lands. If it wasn’t for the USA, Israel would not last a day.” A female speaker referred to genocide being committed against the Palestinians.

Jamal Daoud, an organizer of the rally, lamented that the Arab Spring and the Syrian civil war had “shifted the focus from the Palestinians.”

Several Shia sheiks addressed the crowd. Sheikh Nami Farhat al-Ameli called on “humanity to stand against the evil Zionist regime and big devil America.”

Tim Anderson, another speaker, said that “imperialism has its tools, and Israel is one of those tools.”....'

The Aims Of Al Quds Day: The Photos That Tell All

In Berlin (looking every inch a pocket of Eurabia in that video) an angry swarm of Islamists marking Al Quds Day (the last Friday of Ramadan) have called for the destruction of the Jewish State, reports Benjamin Weinthal in the Jerusalem Post.

But, now that Al Quds Day is marked in  over 80 countries around the world, that's par for the course.

Outside the American Embassy in London, the Quran is chanted:

"Killers!" "Terrorists!" scream the US-hating, Israel-hating crowd when prompted:

Antisemitic Cartoons Illustrate Al Quds Day In Melbourne (video)

“This rally must be seen for what it truly is an Iranian-sponsored hate-fest used for the express purpose of blaming Jews worldwide for problems across the globe.”

The words are those of Frank Dimant, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada,thinking of the excrescence that was the Al Quds Day rally in Toronto last year (see my previous post and also here too for a similar excrescence in Toronto this year in defiance of a ban).

In Sydney, Australia, that "Iranian-sponsored hate-fest" was marked for the first time last year, and this year Melbourne followed suit.  

Note the antisemitic cartoons, including one of a hook-nosed man (wearing a Star of David-emblazoned kippa) devouring a child, interspersed into this footage of Friday's rally in Melbourne:

"Israel Is The Cancer Of The Middle East": Sounds From The Grassy Knoll (video)

The Grassy Knoll, where once crowds gathered to cheer an ill-fated president and his wife on their drive through Dallas, was yesterday the venue for a different sort of crowd, marking Al Quds Day:

Meanwhile, owing to its intemperate, antisemitic nature last year, no Al Quds Day rally was permitted this year in Toronto.  (Read more here)  Neverthess, witness this obscenity, a hate-filled high-pitched rant by an adolescent to a receptive crowd.

"Rouhani's True Face Has Been Revealed Earlier Than Expected"

Yesterday, being the last Friday of Ramadan, the Ayatollah Khomeini-initiated annual grotesquery called Al Quds Day took place: this account by a plummy-voiced news anchor on Iran's propaganda channel Press TV gives brief footage (making it seem less vitriolic towards Israel than it actually is) of its marking in several cities around the world this year.

According to the following video report, at the Al Quds Day rally in Teheran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's successor as Iran's president, Hassan Rouhani, called for "the elimination of the insult to all humanity that is Israel":

Reports the New York Times:

'Iran’s president-elect touched off an international uproar on Friday with disputed comments about Israel, engendering a furious rejoinder from the Israeli prime minister that illustrated the wide gap between the two countries, fed by decades of hostility, even as the new Iranian leader has signaled his wish to pursue a more conciliatory approach in world affairs.The comments from the president-elect, Hassan Rouhani, came two days before he officially takes office, plunging him into what amounted to his first international test over Israel, one of the most vexing topics for an Iranian politician.

Attending an annual pro-Palestinian holiday in Iran known as Al Quds Day, a reference to the Arabic name for Jerusalem and an occasion in which Iranians march and shout “Death to Israel,” Mr. Rouhani told state television that “a sore has been sitting on the body of the Islamic world for many years,” a reference to Israel.

At least three Iranian news agencies appeared to misquote him as saying: the “Zionist regime is a sore which must be removed.” Later in the day they posted corrections.

Mr. Rouhani, who has sought to portray himself as a moderate, did not use the most inflammatory anti-Israeli invective sometimes heard from other Iranian leaders, most notably Mr. Rouhani’s predecessor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has called Israel a cancerous tumor, a virus and an aberration that should be expunged from history.

Nevertheless, the initial news agency translation of Mr. Rouhani’s comments from the state television videotape infuriated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel. He has previously described Mr. Rouhani as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” whose surprising June 14 election victory was unlikely to change Iran’s policies, particularly regarding what Israel views as an Iranian determination to become a nuclear weapons power.

“Rouhani’s true face has been revealed earlier than expected,” Mr. Netanyahu said in a statement. “Even if they will now rush to deny his remarks, this is what the man thinks and this is the plan of the Iranian regime. These remarks by President Rouhani must rouse the world from the illusion that part of it has been caught up in since the Iranian elections.

The president there has changed, but the goal of the regime has not: to achieve nuclear weapons in order to threaten Israel, the Middle East and the peace and security of the entire world. A country that threatens the destruction of the state of Israel must not be allowed to possess weapons of mass destruction.”

When told later that the original translation had been wrong, and that the videotape showed Mr. Rouhani had in fact not referred directly to Israel or said anything about removing the “sore,” Mr. Netanyahu’s office was unmoved and seemingly uninterested in nuance. “We stand by what we say,” said his spokesman, Mark Regev. “The remarks attributed to him we think, we are sure, that represents his true outlook.”....'

 Declares the Islamic Human Rights Commission (producer of the above video) on its website:

"Distribute leaflets and posters (available from IHRC) in your local mosque and Islamic Centres

 Make announcements in your local Mosque and Islamic Centre for the Al Quds Day Demonstration

 Volunteer on Al Quds Day ....

As usual, this will be a major national event with thousands of people coming from all over the country to show their solidarity with the people of Palestine and oppressed people everywhere.

So, can we expect that the "global oppression" referred to will include the subordination of women and girls in Islamic regimes, "honour" killings, rape jihad, and the suffering, even to the death, of Copts and other Christians at the hands of Islamic fanatics (good little article about that here)?

I wouldn't bet on it!

Iranian Islamic Thinker: "What Did You Do With Regards To Israel?" (video)

 This footage was uploaded with Al Quds Day 2013, soon to be upon us, in mind.  To quote the uploader:

'Excerpts from a speech by Shaheed Ayatullah Mutahari [sic]on Palestine, with a message to promote Al Quds Day 2013.

Ayatullah Murtaza Mutaheri [sic, and passim] is one of the principal architects of the new Islamic consciousness in Iran. Shaheed Mutaheri was born on February 2, 1920, near Mashhad.

He studied Fiqh, Usool, Tafsir and Islamic philosophy. He studied in Qum from 1944 until his departure for Tehran in 1952.

In Qum he was among the prime desciples of Allama Tabatabai and Imam Khomeini. The particular school of philosophy to which Shaheed Mutaheri adhered was that of Mulla Sadra whichis a theosophy called "sublime philosophy".

In 1952, Shaheed Mutaheri left Qum for Tehran and started teaching philosophy and Islamic Ideology in Seminaries and ,later, at Tehran University. In Tehran, Shaheed Mutaheri found a broader field of religious education and political activity.

Ayatullah Mutaheri is one of two or three great contemporary Islamic thinkers of Iran. He was acquainted with modern ideologies and presented the Islamic perspectives in different spheres.

His thought is internally consistent. His books may be considered as most lasting and important contribution to the rebirth of Islamic Iran. When the Islamic Revolution of Iran triumphed in 1978, Shaheed Murtaza Mutahhari was made Chairman of the Revolutionary Council. But he was assassinated on May 1, 1979 by a group known as Furqan.

When the sad news was conveyed to Imam Khomeini he could not control his tears. In his condolence message he said, "In him I have lost a dear son. I am mourning the death of one who was the fruition of my life."'

Today, his martyrdom anniversary is commemorated as Teacher's Day in Iran.'
