Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

Tony Blair's Sister-in-Law Calls on Arabs To "Liberate" Jerusalem

"It is time, Brothers and Sisters, for Al Quds to be liberated. For Islam and people of the world who wish to pray there to the one God. And we say here today to you Israel, we see your crimes and we loathe your crimes. And to us your nation does not exist, because it is a criminal injustice against humanity. We want to see Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt go to the borders and stop this now. Liberate Al Quds! March to Al Quds!"

So screeched Tony Blair's sister-in-law, Press TV presenter Lauren Booth (pictured in Gaza before her conversion to Islam), at yesterday's Al Quds Day rally in Londonistan's Trafalgar Square.

With his trusty camera at the ready, Richard Millett covered the sordid events: http://richardmillett.wordpress.com/2011/08/22/lauren-booth-lebanon-jordan-and-egypt-must-liberate-jerusalem/

  2. Yes, Shomer - I am very wary of this "springtime" business, having taken note of the Islamism and antisemitism inherent in some of the demos (of course, you'd never think so, to judge from Al Beeb).

  3. Reminds me of Federation Square (aka Red Square) in Melbourne on a sunny afternoon.

  4. Ah, yes! I had an anti-Israel leaflet shoved into my hand when it first opened, and tore it to bits and threw it at the feet of the leftist youth concerned. He looked very surprised. Luckily I wasn't arrested for littering.

  5. The only conversion Booth should have got was straight between the post's at Headingley rugby ground.

And her father Tony still insists her mother was Jewish.
