And more from one of her party's electoral candidates:
'Tanya Williams, the Green candidate for Twickenham, South West London, made the remarks during an Amnesty International hustings on Tuesday.
According to the news website SW Londoner, she said: “It needs to be pointed out that they [Israel] are a racist state and an apartheid state.”
“South Africa got its act together after decades of campaigning and I hope Israel may eventually too. I think it is time to stand up to the myth that Israel and Palestine are both equal participants in this conflict.”
She also allegedly urged the UK government to end political and economic trade ties with Israel. “I personally think we need to stop supporting Israel, whether that’s trading arms with them, or politically, or treating them like a beacon of democracy in the Middle East which they are not,” she said.
Two Israel-bashing as-a-Jews discuss Greens tactics
The Board of Deputies of British Jews has now called on the Green Party to condemn Williams for her “inflammatory” comments, “which attacked the only democracy in the region,” according to one member.
Board Vice President Alex Brummer told SW Londoner: “The comments on the Middle East from the Green Party candidate in Twickenham are wholly unacceptable.
“They are based on falsehoods, ignorance and sheer prejudice against Israel and its supporters.
Natalie's going to be answering questions live on Facebook on Tuesday (details below); maybe friends of Israel want to be there and (so to speak) tickle the lady up a bit.“Remarks like this can only fuel antagonism against the British Jewish community at a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise.” '

ReplyDeleteBennett’s Boyfriend Wrote Blog Defending Rape Fantasies and Teachers Who Have Sex with Students
The Sunday Mirror revealed that Jim Jepps, who has been dating Bennett for five years, blogged on the Daily Maybe site until 2011, writing a number of controversial articles on topics such as sex, rape and paedophilia.
In one post from 2006, he wrote about Natascha Kampusch, an Austrian girl who was abducted aged 10 and kept as a sex slave for eight years, saying that “even in the horrors of Natascha Kampusch’s imprisonment mundanity, kindness and laughter were still present.”
Comparing her ordeal to the Holocaust, he added: “even in the depths of the Holocaust there was no absolutes of evil or suffering [sic].
“Camp guards could show kindness, dying inmates still cracked jokes or wrote poetry about girls they had loved and mothers of children condemned to die tomorrow still washed their clothes and fed them today.”
Gee Whizz! I'm off for a look - followed by a bath in Dettol.
DeleteOne of the upsides of free speech, no far leftwinger from the internet generation will ever be in government, they can never scrub all their vile comments from the internet.

DeleteDouglas Murray: What’s more disturbing than a group of discredited old Nazis? The Green Party
ReplyDeleteAs I say – I don’t find a few pathetic old Nazis calling for Jewish boycotts to be terribly worrying. Facts and history have caught up with these people and discredited them accordingly. But Bennett, Shah and their party are hoping to gain more than one seat for their party at the election next month. A lot of people will be thinking of voting Green next month. Many of them will be fed up with the other parties or have no idea what the Green Party stands for. As I say – a few discredited old Nazis are no problem whatsoever beside these people.
Thanks as usual, Ian.
