Well, he's digging his heels in.
The misguided laddie has a personal blog, on which he has posted a personal statement denying the Boycott is antisemitic.
He also states, inter alia:
"West Dunbartonshire Council remains committed to our boycott of Israeli goods and our resolve has been strenthened by the torrent of vile abuse [and] threats of violence to our families that has come from people who claim to be peace loving people."And he's also made an appearance on video... [Update: You can view it on my final blog for May, along with another video about the SNP Boycott!]

Someone really should make a video for the West Dunbartonshire Council along the lines of this one, made for Marrickville Council in Sydney:
I hope his mozzie friends build a mosque next door to him in gratitude.
ReplyDelete"The Tartan Barmy" should've been the title here
ReplyDeletetut, tut, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe Scottish Moron writes;
ReplyDelete"This is not an anti-Semitic act.
I don't care whether you are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Agnostic or any other such label you might want to give someone. We are all members of the human race and we should all stand together in asking the Israeli Government to think again about their methods."
These are the same people who boycotting the previous Kadima Israeli government. The question is then, which Israeli Government would he not want to boycott? The answer is there is no Israeli government he wouldn't boycott.
You need to do a post on the UCU anti semitism redefinition.
And another councillor is getting hot under the collar:

Re the UCU business, I posted something last week, and would have done a post last evening had not my blog played up - I think the probem is fixed now but I have not had time.
Wave right back to the Councillor McColl here - looks like he's imbibed a dram or three in the photo:

It appears it's much worse to be accused of antisemitism than to do or say something antisemitic.
ReplyDeleteGood point, deegee.
ReplyDeletebtw, I will post about GS soon.
