Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

Paint It Black (and Green and Red): That Old "Free Palestine" Trick Again

Just in case you haven't already seen (and read about) this on Elder's blog: http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2011/05/uk-palestine-embassy-website-wipes.html
And as Challa Hu Akbar noted recently, that Palestinian eagle looks a bit dodgy too: http://challahhuakbar.blogspot.com/2011/01/palestinian-nazi-symbolics.html

  2. I just checked, David - it is there at:
    http://palestineembassyuk.com/?page_id=88
I arrived at the page by clicking "Discover Palestine" on their sidebar...
Their image of Palestine, Illinois, referred to by Elder, is hilarious!

  3. Ahh. Found it. The map doesn't show up on an iPad. But it does on a MacBook.

But it is a weird site. Is it meant to be true? I mean is it truly an official Palestine site? Hard to believe it. Seems pretty stupid to act as if Israel doesn't exist -- even if they actually believe it e.g. Jaffa is "military occupied by Israel since 1948."

"Jaffa, is a Palestinian Arab city, which lies in the West central of Palestine, on the Mediterranean Sea. Jaffa is military occupied by Israel since 1948, and is part of the unified city Tel Aviv-Yafo since 1950."

Too strange. The site is registered by Enom, Inc. (via the Internet -- that doesn't mean that Enom Inc. owns the Palestine Embassy site) in a suburb of Seattle Washington, which isn't conclusive but seems a bit odd. I mean why would an embassy in Britain have the site registered by a company in west coast of the USA? Someone who knows about the internet than I do would have to comment.

But that site sure strikes me as strange. And stupid.

  4. As pointed out on Elder of Ziyon, if you look at the Discover page you see a sign that welcomes you to Palestine, Illinois, by Daniel Boone himself, or maybe a relative of his in his coonskin hat.

  6. Thanks, gentlemen!
I must say, David, that I half expect to hear the site's a hoax. It's just so strange ...
