London Israel-Haters: "Many BBC Employees Came to Congratulate Us"

To readers of this blog, and more generally, Sandra Watfa is probably the best-known public face of the anti-Israel Inminds group.

Her uncompromising sentiments are encapsulated, inter alia, in this recent post:

On 30 November Inminds projected a slide show onto the walls of the BBC's Broadcasting House in London, protesting the holding of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Israel.

Yes. Arch-BDSer Alex Seymour (aka Seymour Alexander) was, as usual, on hand to record the event (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHiA4MaPBfQ) 'Nearly 150 Artists, including Eurovision winners, judges and broadcasters have all supported the Palestinian call to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 if held in Israel' Inminds itself reports, and goes on to quote its chairman, Abbas Ali, as saying 'It's unacceptable that something as culturally prestigious as the iconic Eurovision Song Contest, which is meant to bring people together through music, is handed over to an apartheid regime ... We are here to ask the BBC to serve its licence payers by taking a moral stand against racism, and pull out of next years Eurovision if its held in Israel.' It reports, too, that

'The projection lasted over an hour during which time many passers by and BBC employees came to congratulate us for voicing their own concerns of how inappropriate it would be for the Eurovision to be hosted by Israel, and shameful for the BBC to support it.' [Emphasis added]

Conflict on Carnaby Street: "Terrorist supporters off our streets!" (video)

Puma, the leading international sponsor of the Israel Football Association, is the latest brand targetted by the BDS movement, and yesterday, 6 October, Inminds staged a demo outside the Puma store on Carnaby Street, which didn't go quite according to plan.

For there to wave the Israeli flag and denounce the "monstrous lies" emanating from the hate-mongers, was a small contingent of Zionist activists, including the stalwart Jonathan Hoffman.

At one point Mr Plod approaches one of the pro-Israel counter-protesters, and seems to remonstrate with him.

But then, just as Sandra Watfa (David Collier's take on her below) launches into her customary Israel-denouncing rant, she is suddenly surrounded by the Zionists, who virtually drown her out with repetitive cries of "Terrorist supporters off our streets!"

Fangs as sharp as any puma's are bared on both sides, Ms Watfa's script flies from her hand, Mr Hoffman is manhandled, a burly security guy speaks to him sharply and is told "She hit me first!" and later "She's an anti-Jewish racist!"

A far cry from the groovy image of Carnaby Street back in the flower power "Make Love Not War" era of the 1960s.

A Thorn Among the pro-Pallywood Thespians (video)

Beautiful carriage. Beautiful diction. Beautiful hair. Who can deny that London-based anti-Israel activist Sandra Watfa has natural stage presence?

Strangely enough, however, most of the hoped-for audience at this performance of hers about a week ago outside London's South Bank Centre seem merely to glance at the lady, and walk on by.

Perhaps, like us, they have heard the message delivered by her and her handmaidens so often before that it's grown stale.

Or perhaps, like us, they recognise balderdash and baloney even when delivered in even louder and more histrionic tones than usual.

There's a reason for the discomfiture on the faces of star performer and attendants, and that redoubling of the thespian's art. If you listen at about 0:54 you will probably guess who's arrived to heckle.

If you fast forward to about 11:54 you will know for sure.

Well done that man!

Watfa Heck, Stephen Sizer?

Our old friend the ex-vicar of Virginia Water, nowadays CEO of the Israel-bashing Peacemaker Mediators "charity", has been attending a Christian conference in Hong Kong on the theme of "Love Thy Neighbour".

According to the conference's blurb:

"This year’s conference theme is ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ and there is no more relevant time in history than right now to take a fresh look at Jesus' timeless truth. Sizer has in the past worked strenuously to turn Christian populations in South-East Asia against Christian Zionism.

For example through translations of his works, so it would not be surprising to learn that he carried on his anti-Israel proselytism while attending the conference.

I believe, incidentally, that the Beijing authorities rejected his application for a visa to China, probably owing to their crackdown on Christians.

As CEO of Peacemaker Mediators Sizer is no less peripatetic than he was as the spiritual leader of Christ Church, Virginia Water. (It seems he'll be coming to the Antipodes next March.)

Surely you have read the Book of Job, being a clergyman. Recall this verse?

Not a word there about the blind, lame, poor or disadvantaged having to be Jewish to qualify for Jewish kindness.

And in the same vein the modern state of Israel performs humanitarian acts large-scale and small to countries and peoples the world over, including citizens of "enemy" nations such as Syria. Remember when Israel offered aid to your seemingly beloved Iran following an earthquake in 2003? And the mad mullahs, preferring to let their citizens suffer rather than be aided by the Zionist Entity, turned the offer down?

Expose The Lies!

There is a war of lies and deceit on the internet generating unbelievable hate by denigrating and delegitimising the legal rights conferred on the Jewish people by the League of Nations in 1922 and the United Nations in 1945. The "Apartheid" Slur

The division of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) into three separate areas “A”, “B” and “C” was agreed on by Israel and the PLO pursuant to the Oslo Accords.
95% of the West Bank Arabs live in Areas A and B and their daily lives are under the total administration and control of the PLO since the Palestinian Authority was disbanded by Abbas in January 2013. The PLO has total security control in A and shares security control in B with Israel. Israel has total administrative and security control in C.
Israel is entitled to and will continue to take responsibility for the security of Jews living in the West Bank.
Jews were given the legal right to settle in the West Bank under article 6 of the Mandate for Palestine and article 80 of the UN Charter. They did so for decades until they were driven out in 1947 and not able to return there until 1967.
There are Arab roads only in the West Bank that Jews are not allowed to use. Jews are also forbidden from entering Area “A”. Selling land to Jews is forbidden by the PLO under pain of death. The PLO runs the daily lives of 95% of the West Bank Arabs and Hamas runs the daily lives of 100% of the Gazan Arabs. They have been under occupation – and subjugation – by these two evil groups for the last ten years and given no say in their future or any opportunity to elect others to lead them following the disastrous political decisions of their leaders over the past ten years. Hamas and the PLO do not accept the continued existence of a Jewish State and call for its disappearance.
