Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

Full Of Eastern Promise

I see that a merry affair is scheduled for next month in the dear deluded old Mother Country:
'The Ahlulbayt Islamic Mission has announced its 2013 ’Imam Khomeini’ Conference is to be held at the Islamic Centre of England on 2nd June 2013. This annual event features a number of extremist speakers offering praise to the founder of the brutal Iranian Republic.
Khomeini was the leader of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, one of the World’s most hardline and bellicose regimes. In his book, Islamic Government, Khomeini expressed his hatred for Jews. The book is based on a series of lectures Khomeini gave in 1969 on what an Islamic government should be. Khomeini wrote:
“Since its inception, the Islamic government was afflicted with the Jews when they started their counter-activity by distorting the reputation of Islam, by assaulting it and by slandering. This has continued to our present day.”
In 1989, Khomeini issued a religious edict (fatwa) ordering Muslims to kill the British author, Salman Rushdie, for his novel, ‘The Satanic Verses,’ which he considered blasphemous to Islam.
Khomeini ensured Iran became the brutal regime it is today, one that has persecuted its Arab and Bahai minorities, encouraged hatred against Jews, sponsored terrorism abroad and executed its own people for ‘un-Islamic’ activity.
It is all the more worrying, then, that British Islamist groups seek to venerate him. It is not, however, surprising. The Islamic Centre of England is well-known for its support for the Iranian regime. Its head, Ayatollah Moezi (who has been announced as a speaker at the conference) describes himself as the personal representative of Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.' (Read more here)
Meanwhile, here (with English subtitles) is a candid German look at the antisemitism that plagues Sweden's third city, an antisemitism stemming from Muslim immigrants in Malmo's Rosengaard district: (Hat tip: Vlad Tepes blog)

And, many miles to the south, here's a bloodcurdling exhortation to makes Jews' wives widows and their children orphans.

What do the anti-racist human rights watchers have to say about these heinous developments, I wonder.  Shtum's the word, it seems.
