Leftwing Fascists on the March

But as seen on the Facebook page of the New York coven (I use that word advisedly) of the anti-Israel so-called "Jewish Voice for Peace" the fascist left was also out and about, proving once again its intolerance for democractic values and free expression:

Of course, we're becoming used used to the totalitarian left's crazy hypocrisy. 

Last night in Australia, for instance, the popular conservative columnist Andrew Bolt was physically assaulted shortly after he launched a book about Donald Trump.

(The urbane Mr Bolt,naturally unhappy about having dye sprayed in his face, apparently attacked the bastards back, giving one a well-aimed kick in the unmentionables.)

He is an enfant terrible as far as the left is concerned, because he's not afraid to speak his mind with such robust pieces as this, ("Britain has imported the start of a civil war") written this week in the wake of the recent Islamic atrocities in the United Kingdom (in the latest of which, incidentally, two young Australian women have been confirmed dead):

'The latest terrorist attacks in London show Britain has imported the start of a civil war.

Few police and journalists have wanted to admit this truth for fears of seeming racist. We have the same denialists ourselves.

But how can it be denied now? In March, a British-born Islamist killed five people with his car and his knife outside the British parliament.

Two weeks ago, the Islamist son of Libyan refugees murdered 22 people, many of them teenage girls, at a pop concert in Manchester.

Now at least three men have run down and stabbed people on and near London Bridge. One woman had her throat cut, and a witness reported one of the attackers, described as looking Mediterranean, shouted: “This is for Allah.”

Six people were murdered.

To say this looks like the start of a civil war will be denounced by apologists as hyperbole.

But does anyone seriously think the Islamist attacks will finally stop with yesterday’s murders?

The UK government last month admitted Britain now had an estimated 23,000 jihadists on its streets — about the size of the army reserve.

Then there are the supporters, active or passive.

A face-to-face survey of British Muslims for the BBC last year found 4 per cent openly backed suicide attacks and other acts of Islamist political violence — which amounts to 100,000 Muslims in Britain today.

To deal with the threat, Prime Minister Therese May last month raised the terrorism threat level to extreme and deployed the army on the streets. Yet she still got this London Bridge massacre.

Looks like the start of a civil war to me.

Think what may now follow. Could some non-Muslims, enraged by the attacks and the refusal of the political class to properly protect them, one day respond with violence of their own?

God knows where it all will end.

But we do know where it started — with Britain opening the gates to mass immigration from the Middle East and Africa, while the political class screamed down anyone who dared object....'

"No Alcohol Allowed On The Streets Near This Shop"

"[S]ince the 1890s thousands of Jewish, Irish, Afro-Caribbean, Asian and Chinese workers, among others, have arrived in [London], often displacing the indigenous population. Yes, there was hateful overt racism and discrimination ...But, over time, I believe we settled down into a happy mix of incorporation and shared aspiration," observes Londoner Jane Kelly, writing here.

Braving the tags "racist" and "Islamophobe" Jane identifies what many critics of mass immigration with little attempt at integration into the prevailing ethos also see as a modern British calamity.

"Of the 8.17 million people in London, one million are Muslim, with the majority of them young families. That is not, in reality, a great number. But because so many Muslims increasingly insist on emphasising their separateness, it feels as if they have taken over...

.... Things have changed. I am living in a place where I am a stranger....

 More worryingly, I feel that public spaces are becoming contested. One food store has recently installed a sign banning alcohol on the premises. Fair enough. But it also says: “No alcohol allowed on the streets near this shop.” I am no fan of street drinking, and rowdy behaviour and loutish individuals are an aspect of modern British ''culture’’ I hate. But I feel uneasy that this shopkeeper wants to control the streets outside his shop...."

Of course, in English Law, he has no right to do so: similarly, homeowners who try to book much-needed and much-coveted parking spaces for themselves by placing "traffic cones" or bollards in the roadway immediately outside their premises are in the wrong.

But try explaining English Law to the  temperance campaigner in this video:

How very different from the genteel ladies and other participants who took part in the temperance movement of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, eh?

Heavies In The 'Hood: Muslim vigilantes try to rule Britannia (video)

This mobile footage has appeared on so many websites over the past few days that I'd decided it would be a waste of time to post it here.

However, since a friend who's usually well-informed about such things told me today that he was unaware of these goings on in the London borough of Tower Hamlets (some reports say Waltham Forest, some Wathamstow), I've decided to post it after all:

Strangely (ahem!) the mainstream media has been silent about this attempt by Islamists to impose their cultural norms upon passers-by; the Daily Mail is an exception.

Fighting Terrorism: A Double Standard In A Nutshell

Kudos to the unknown person who made this comment, quoted in an email I received just now:

“France is going to war in Mali because it says ‘we cannot have a terrorist state at the door of Europe,’ but when Israel launches a defensive operation to protect its citizens from missile attacks from terrorists in Gaza, all the French newspapers and television commentators scream about Israeli aggression. The distance between Bamako and Paris: 6266 km. The distance between Gaza and Israel: 1km.”

The writer adds that it evokes one of Natan Sharansky's triple D definition of  antisemitism: "double standards" (for his famous definition see here)

Mayoral Candidate Livingstone Pledges To Make London "A Beacon Of Islam"

Ken Livingstone, who was London's mayor from 2000 until 2008, when the Conservative Party's Boris Johnson became the city's first populace-elected mayor, is the Labour Party's candidate for that office.  The election is on 3rd May.

Ken's an atheist.  He's a Socialist.  He doesn't like Israel very much at all.  And apparently - as the Jewish Chronicle reports - he told some of his Labour colleagues just recently that Jews are too rich to vote Labour, an alleged statement that has prompted a letter of protest to Labour leader Ed Miliband from a number of Jews who support the party.

Ken Livingstone's courting the Muslim vote - and how!

Never mind that certain aspects of Islam sit uncomfortably with secular democracy and with the equality of the sexes.  Ken has pledged to make London "a beacon of Islam".

Soeren Kern, Senior Fellow for European Politics at the Madrid-based Grupo de Estudios Estratégicos / Strategic Studies Group, explains:

'Speaking to Muslim worshippers on March 16 at the North London Central Mosque, one of the most hardline mosques in Europe, Livingstone pledged that if elected, he would "educate the mass of Londoners" about Islam.

...."I want to spend the next four years making sure that every non-Muslim in London knows and understands [Mohammed's] words and message. That will help to cement our city as a beacon that demonstrates the meaning of the words of the Prophet."

Livingstone's electioneering tactic may earn him the support of Muslim voters in London. But by speaking at the North London mosque, Livingstone has also succeeded in reviving long-standing suspicions that he is closely linked to Islamic fundamentalists.

The North London Central Mosque, also known as the Finsbury Park Mosque, has a well-established reputation for being a center for radical Islamism in Britain. The mosque was once controlled by Abu Hamza al-Masri, an Egyptian jihadist who is now in prison in Britain for "instigation to acts of terrorism." The Finsbury Mosque is currently being run by the Muslim Association of Britain, an Islamist organization tied to the Muslim Brotherhood as well as the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

One of Livingstone's main links to radical Islam is through an organization called the Islamic Forum of Europe

(IFE), an Islamist group dedicated to changing the "very infrastructure of society, its institutions, its culture, its political order and its creed … from ignorance to Islam."

The IFE is especially active in the East London borough of Tower Hamlets. Also known as "The Islamic Republic of Tower Hamlets," the area is brimming with extremist Muslim preachers, the Tower Hamlets' Taliban, who are seeking to impose Islamic Sharia law on large swaths of the British capital.

The Tower Hamlets' Taliban regularly issue death threats to women who refuse to wear Islamic veils. Neighborhood streets have been plastered with bright yellow posters declaring "You are entering a Sharia controlled zone: Islamic rules enforced." And street advertising deemed offensive to Muslims is regularly vandalized or blacked out with spray paint....'
