"Social Inequality Does Not Explain The Anti-Semitism, Nor The Misogyny ... Many Muslims in Europe are re-Islamizing Themselves"

"I am pained to see that the French mode of European civilization is threatened. France is in the process of transforming into a post-national and multicultural society. It seems to me that this enormous transformation does not bring anything good....

It is presented to us as the model for the future. But multiculturalism does not mean that cultures blend. Mistrust prevails, communitarianism is rampant – parallel societies are forming that continuously distance themselves from each other."

So declares the famous French philosopher Alain Finkielkraut, the son of a Holocaust survivor, in an interview with Der Spiegel online.

The interview (hat tip: Vlad Tepes blog) took place a few months ago, but is no less relevant for that.

In what should be a wake-up call not only to his own compatriots, Finkielkraut goes on to say:

"...The lower middle classes the French ... are already moving out of the Parisian suburbs and farther into the countryside. They have experienced that in some neighborhoods they are the minority in their own country.....

Immigration used to go hand-in-hand with integration into French culture. That was the rule of the game. Many of the new arrivals no longer want to play by that rule. If the immigrants are in the majority in their neighborhoods, how can we integrate them?...

Many Muslims in Europe are re-Islamizing themselves.....

The left wanted to resolve the problem of immigration as a social issue, and proclaimed that the riots in the suburbs were a kind of class struggle. We were told that these youths were protesting against unemployment, inequality and the impossibility of social advancement.

In reality we saw an eruption of hostility toward French society. Social inequality does not explain the anti-Semitism, nor the misogyny in the suburbs, nor the insult "filthy French." The left does not want to accept that there is a clash of civilizations....

The US sees itself as a country of immigration, and what is impressive about this truly multicultural society is the strength of its patriotism. This was particularly evident after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

In France, however, the opposite could be seen after the attacks on French soldiers and Jewish children in Toulouse and Montauban last year: Some schoolchildren saw Mohamed Merah, the assailant, as a hero....." [Emphasis added]

Can France Still Close Its Eyes To NGOs That Sponsor Terrorism?

Although the following item, by J.P. Grumberg and Jean Vercors (sent to me by the latter) ideally needs to be read in conjunction with this brief video (no English subtitles, but its point is crystal clear) it can nevertheless stand alone:

Sometimes , humanitarian organizations use a cover for financing of jihad, and Islamists have one foot in the legal world and another in the financing of terrorism , said Juan Zarate, former member of the U.S. State Department and author of Treasury’s War, which describes the efforts of the United States to penetrate the financial networks of jihad.

Thus, in France , and with impunity , “Le comité de bienfaisance de secours aux Palestiniens” CBSP finances Hamas terrorist activities (Hamas is listed as [a] terrorist organization by the European Union and the United States) under the guise of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.

The French intelligence services are fully aware of this but they keep closing their eyes to it.

The Committee for Charity and Support for the Palestinians (CBSP) or Comité de Bienfaisance et de Secours aux Palestiniens (CBSP) is a French-based registered charitable organization that was founded in 1990. Its current president is Khalid Al-Shuli.

The CBSP state that its humanitarian mission is to provide emergency assistance and develop sustainable economic and social programs in partnership with local organizations so as to assist the most needy segments of the Palestinian population in Gaza, the West Bank, and Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon.

The CBSP was listed as a terrorist fundraising group in Israel in 1997. Israeli police claimed the CBSP had provided cash rewards to the families of suicide bombers. In August 2003, the CBSP was listed by the United States Treasury as a terrorist funding organization, also under the allegation that the organization fundraised for Hamas.

In November 2003, Australia announced it had frozen the assets of six leaders of Hamas, along with those of a number of charitable institutions - one of which was the CBSP [see also here - D.A.].

France, for obscure but perfectly immoral reasons, decided that the CBSP can continue to reap tens of millions of euros in donations (13 million in 2009) on behalf of Hamas.

In 2010, AFP , in a dispatch taken over by a French newspaper, The Dispatch, cited the testimony of Jean-Charles Brisard, a world renowned French expert on terrorism and former military attaché under Balladur:

"This is only the tip of the iceberg : the CBSP is cited in several legal proceedings, the United States but also in France , for financial support to Hamas "

The CBSP provides financial assistance for children of fallen martyrs in suicide attacks by Hamas [via the] UOIF (Union of Islamic Organizations of France) in a "camouflaged campaign ... for the modest sum of 50 euros, sponsor an orphan in Palestine. "

Is France credible when she promises to fight against antisemitism with the strongest actions while leaving flourish on its territory an organization which funds antisemitic terrorism? ....

Can France denounce a terrorist organization and authorize its funding at the same time?

Fightback In France Against Fascism (video)

My Franco-Israeli reader Jean alerted me to a so-called "March Contre Le Fascisme Islamiste" that took place on Saturday afternoon (10th November) in Paris.

Chief organiser Christine Tassin explained beforehand:

'"We want this march to be a march of hope and confidence in this country.

We refuse violence and terror, we must be united no matter our political views.

All patriots must be united against fascism of the 21st century that is Islamism.Bring your French flag!

Recent events have shown us in France and elsewhere in the world that Islamism is getting more and more dangerous for our democracies and the free world. Supporters of Islamism hate liberty and freedom, they want to impose us Sharia.

The Benghazi attack, the Criminal jihadist Mohamed Merah, Ilan Halimi [a young Jewish man] tortured for 3 weeks by a gang of barbarians. the Vogel Family Massacre stabbed in their sleep, the killing of Theo Van Gogh by muslim fanatics to name a few remind us that islamo fascism is a daily threat."'

Adds Jean:

This March highlights the threat from the Islamic jihad, and the oppression of Muslim women. Islamo-Fascism Awareness march.

Islamic fanatics operate a fascistic concept of the "pure" and the "exclusive" over the unclean and the kufar or profane. "fascism with an Islamic face"describes the attack on civil society on Sept. 11, 2001.

Expose The Lies!

There is a war of lies and deceit on the internet generating unbelievable hate by denigrating and delegitimising the legal rights conferred on the Jewish people by the League of Nations in 1922 and the United Nations in 1945. The idea that there are two narratives on the Arab-Jewish conflict is rubbish. There is only one – the factual truth that details the return of the Jewish people to reconstitute the Jewish National Home in its ancient biblical, ancestral and historic homeland after 3500 years of dispersion with the unanimous endorsement of the nation states then comprising the League of Nations.... Generals can’t fight a war without soldiers. The "Apartheid" Slur

The division of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) into three separate areas “A”, “B” and “C” was agreed on by Israel and the PLO pursuant to the Oslo Accords.
95% of the West Bank Arabs live in Areas A and B and their daily lives are under the total administration and control of the PLO since the Palestinian Authority was disbanded by Abbas in January 2013. The PLO has total security control in A and shares security control in B with Israel. Israel has total administrative and security control in C.
Israel is entitled to and will continue to take responsibility for the security of Jews living in the West Bank.
Jews were given the legal right to settle in the West Bank under article 6 of the Mandate for Palestine and article 80 of the UN Charter. They did so for decades until they were driven out in 1947 and not able to return there until 1967.
There are Arab roads only in the West Bank that Jews are not allowed to use. Jews are also forbidden from entering Area “A”. Selling land to Jews is forbidden by the PLO under pain of death. The PLO runs the daily lives of 95% of the West Bank Arabs and Hamas runs the daily lives of 100% of the Gazan Arabs. They have been under occupation – and subjugation – by these two evil groups for the last ten years and given no say in their future or any opportunity to elect others to lead them following the disastrous political decisions of their leaders over the past ten years. Hamas and the PLO do not accept the continued existence of a Jewish State and call for its disappearance.

For Western countries to side with those who question Israel's legitimacy, for them to play games in international bodies with Israel's vital security issues, for them to appease those who oppose Western values, rather than robustly to stand up in defence of those values, is not only a grave moral mistake, but a strategic error of the first magnitude.
