Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

So, Israel-Haters, Are You Still Happy to Appear on Press TV?

Yes, you, Jenny Tonge, Mick Napier, Stephen Sizer, and the rest of the gang.

Here's a video showing something deeply dark and sinister in the regime of the mullahs.  Genocidal, even, that word dear old firebrand Mick loves to throw around when demonising Israel.

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73fO6rDFqvY

To quote the uploader, back in August:

The untold story of the 1988 Massacre. Extermination of generation.
Earlier this month an audio tape was published for the first time of a meeting between Hossein-Ali Montazeri, former heir to Khomeini, and officials of the mullahs' regime responsible for the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988.
The vast majority of the victims were affiliated to the main Iranian opposition group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) who were executed simply because they refused to renounce their opposition to the mullahs’ rule.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described the audio recording as a historical document.
She said the recording attested in the strongest possible manner both to the Mojahedin (PMOI/MEK) political prisoners’ rejection of surrender and to their admirable allegiance to, and perseverance in, their commitment to the Iranian people. The recording is also irrefutable evidence that leaders of the mullahs’ regime are responsible for crimes against humanity and the unprecedented genocide, Mrs. Rajavi said.

Stephen Sizer Posts Early for Christmas (plus Hypocrites on Press TV)

To judge by the coy facetiousness below, our old friend the vicar seems to be taking both seriously and not so seriously the Bishop of Guildford's directive to him not to post anything about the Middle East on social media while he remains the incumbent of Christ Church, Virginia Water:

Someone asks where the camels can be purchased, and someone else replies, to which our old friend adds:

Speaking of our old friend leads to thoughts of Press TV, the Iranian government's propaganda satellite news channel on which he has not been averse to appearing, despite the regime of the ayatollahs' frightful record regarding human rights including those of Christians.

Happily wallowing in Israel-hatred are a bunch of European trades unionists spewing invective against the Zionist entity with no qualms about appearing on the odious Iranian regime's propaganda channel:

And by appearing on Press TV, blissfully turning a collective blind eye to the real, ongoing and worsening human rights violations committed by Iran:

Are You Sitting Down? Iran Issues Report On Human Rights Violations

Glory, glory, Hallelujah!!!

The Farsi News Agency reports today that Iran has published a report on human rights violations during 2013 and 2014.

Let's give credit where it's due: this is a most noble and long overdue gesture on the part of a country in which human rights violations are frequent and monstrous.

A country that  punishes homosexuals with the noose and is not averse to hanging women, stones women for adultery, persecutes apostates, dissidents, and members of religious minorities even to the death.

And so on.

A country that has now bitten the bullet and exposed such horrific and unconscionable occurrences.

See for yourself:

"If You Saw Iran Achieve Nuclear Weapons ... That Changes The Planet As We Know It..."

Says Israeli prime ministerial spokesman Mark Regev here in identifying Iran's nuclear ambitions as the foremost immediate threat facing Israel:
".... If you saw Iran achieve nuclear weapons, that changes history, that changes the planet as we know it. Israel is only the Little Satan.  In the crazy warped ideology of the Iranian regime we are only the Little Satan.  The Big Satan is the United States (their words, not mine) and Europe is the middle-sized Satan. This is a very radical extremist regime."
Meanwhile Iranian MPs have condemned a resolution by the European Parliament last week that accused Iran of "continued, systemic violation of fundamental rights" and claimed that the election  which voted Hassan Rouhani into the country's presidency "not held according to the democratic standards valued by the EU".

(Some of the continuing human rights violations by Iran have been recently described here and  here and here)
Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif has blamed the resolution on Israeli influence and warns:
"The government will not allow any parliamentary delegation from Europe to travel to Iran on the conditions included in this European Parliament’s resolution.
The European Parliament is not in a position and does not have the moral authority to be able to express views about the situation in other countries.
Europeans must know that the great and civilized Iranian nation seeks interaction with other countries based on mutual respect and an equal footing, and will not accept insulting and interfering attitude by any movement and country."
To quote a report on Iran's propaganda satellite  news channel PressTV:
'Iran has credible information that pro-Israeli lobbies are making great efforts and raising false issues to sabotage "Iran’s positive and constructive negotiations with the P5+1 group" on the country’s nuclear energy program, he added.
The Iranian minister, however, noted that the Israeli regime’s plots would fail in light of the prudence, foresight and vigilance of all negotiating countries.
Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council – Russia, China, France, Britain and the US – plus Germany are in talks with the purpose of sealing a final deal on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program.
The two sides reached an interim deal on November 24, 2013, in the Swiss city of Geneva to set the stage for the full settlement of the dispute over Iran’s program. The deal took effect on January 20 '
Incidentally, talking of Iran, that peripatetic priest, the anti-Israel Stephen Sizer, who appears from time to time on its satellite channel (incidentally, see this item!), is winging his way there yet again.
