A Bee In D's Bonnet ... But Where Was The Camera?

Swansea-based anti-Israel activist D. Murphy was one of several women of her ilk from Wales who went on the recent Flytilla. The loquacious Ms Murphy has staged publicity stunts on Welsh soil (see http://daphneanson.blogspot.com/2011/04/anti-israel-shenanigans-in-land-of-song.html ) but while detained in Givon Prison she managed to take footage with a camera hidden somewhere on her person.

She concedes in this interview that the prison wasn't so bad, but vows to return to Israel and get into the West Bank in the future...

UK Flytilla Pair Fly Back To Their Own Country

The pair were the first of a number of "activists" to return to the UK having been detained in Israel when they flew into Ben-Gurion Airport bound for "Palestine" and then deported.

And guess what? When they regained their native sod a reporter from Press TV, Ahmadinejad's satellite propaganda news channel, was there to interview them.

The garrulous Mike Napier, chairman of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Scotland, tells of his detention in "the best prison in the Israeli Gulag" and octogenarian retired academic John Lynes from Sussex adds his ha'pence worth:

I recognise at least one regular at the anti-Ahava protests in Covent Garden among the welcome party, too. (I've looked at enough videos of Ahava events on Richard Millett's blog over the past twelve months or so to be able to tell!)

Also among the flytilla "activists" from Blighty were Pippa Bartolotti, deputy leader of the Green Party in Wales, pictured sweetly with this unsavoury flag when she visited Gaza a couple of years ago:

According to Al Beeb's news website - and not surprisingly, given its politically partisan predilections, that website has devoted a fair bit of space to the flotilla and flytilla participants from the UK, Pippa Bartolotti has - like the Aussies Sylvia Hale and Vivienne Porzsolt - been challenging her deportation order in Israel.

So has Dee Murphy, an eloquent pro-Palestinian activist from Swansea with a taste for the theatrical gesture - we've seen her tipping up a shopping trolley full of Israeli produce on the forecourt of a Swansea supermarket, and supergluing herself to a fixture in the foyer of BBC Wales:

Not So Easy Jet Setters

The troublemaking activists and "refugees" who hoped to case disruption and embarrassment to the Israeli authorities by flying into Ben-Gurion Airport today ("The Flytilla") aboard various commercial flights are being told politely that they shall not pass:

Expose The Lies!

There is a war of lies and deceit on the internet generating unbelievable hate by denigrating and delegitimising the legal rights conferred on the Jewish people by the League of Nations in 1922 and the United Nations in 1945. The idea that there are two narratives on the Arab-Jewish conflict is rubbish. There is only one – the factual truth that details the return of the Jewish people to reconstitute the Jewish National Home in its ancient biblical, ancestral and historic homeland after 3500 years of dispersion with the unanimous endorsement of the nation states then comprising the League of Nations.... Generals can’t fight a war without soldiers. The "Apartheid" Slur

The division of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) into three separate areas “A”, “B” and “C” was agreed on by Israel and the PLO pursuant to the Oslo Accords.
95% of the West Bank Arabs live in Areas A and B and their daily lives are under the total administration and control of the PLO since the Palestinian Authority was disbanded by Abbas in January 2013. The PLO has total security control in A and shares security control in B with Israel. Israel has total administrative and security control in C.
Israel is entitled to and will continue to take responsibility for the security of Jews living in the West Bank.
Jews were given the legal right to settle in the West Bank under article 6 of the Mandate for Palestine and article 80 of the UN Charter. They did so for decades until they were driven out in 1947 and not able to return there until 1967.
There are Arab roads only in the West Bank that Jews are not allowed to use. Jews are also forbidden from entering Area “A”. Selling land to Jews is forbidden by the PLO under pain of death. The PLO runs the daily lives of 95% of the West Bank Arabs and Hamas runs the daily lives of 100% of the Gazan Arabs. They have been under occupation – and subjugation – by these two evil groups for the last ten years and given no say in their future or any opportunity to elect others to lead them following the disastrous political decisions of their leaders over the past ten years. Hamas and the PLO do not accept the continued existence of a Jewish State and call for its disappearance.
