Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)
We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East. (From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)
With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

Obama speaks at the beginning of "the democratical transition that's taking place in Egypt.."? Is that what it is? I cannot but be reminded of the Turkish presidents (or whatever they call teh position of that particular anti-semite) who is reported as saying: "Democracy is like a Bus: you take it to get somewhere, once you are there, you leave it".
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I would be interested what do YOU think, Daphne: is Obama genuine or is he indulging in Takja? (dont know how to spell this)
I think he's being a 30s-style appeaser, Rita, and I fully support Bibi when he says we're running out of time.
ReplyDeleteThere has been too much pussyfooting for too long ...

Thanks Daphne (the link doesn't seem to work though). I give the appeasers of the 30s just a tiny bit more benefit of doubt, but only a very very very very tiny bit. I dont know much about the "peace in our time" Chamberlain, but hear that he was not the brightest. Whereas no-one can accuse Hussein Obama of "stupidity".
ReplyDeleteBibi might be actually showing himself a bit too optimistic, when he says we're running out of time. I fear we are fast approaching the past tense of that. (But what else can he do, he really IS trying hard and I admire him).
"...His (Obama's) failure to support Israel and, worse, his willingness to use its survival as a bargaining chip for his re-election suggest Israel will have to repeat history to survive...
ReplyDeleteFrom an interestinhg (and informative for this goyim) article which tells us about Bibi's Purim Gift to Obama, here:
