Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

A Beautiful Voice Against A Palestinian State (video)

Just as I confess to being uneasy about the Netanyahu government's decision to permit 3000 new homes on disputed territory, I confess I'm by no means sure that the song (written by her father) that Israeli singer Yedida Freilich performs feelingly is justified in all it alleges, but here it is (more information here):

If the solution to the conflict lies in making peace with "moderate Palestinians,"  Mr Abbas's man in Australia, Mr Izzat Abdulhadi (shown below speaking at the University of Canberra in August) would appear to fit the bill.  I wish he hadn't produced images of the Yishuv newspaper the Palestine Post to further his claim of Palestine's former existence though, and I wish he hadn't produced that well-known set of four (in part duplicitous) maps ...

  1. Those four maps seem to be resurfacing frequently. Here is one attempt to fisk them map by map, together with links to other attempts. Useful ammunition for the next time someone posts them with the comment about the MSM suppressing them.

The four maps are a key feature of displays by the PSC and its branches.
