Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

A View From A Vicarage In Virginia Water

For the background to this Facebook message (hat tip: reader P) from (avowedly non-antisemitic) Anglican vicar Stephen Sizer see here

And as usual the clerical incumbent of Virginia Water in Surrey has undermining the Zionist Entity very much on his mind.

I understand from my bemused informant that, among the numerous Israel-bashing messages and links that the reverend gentleman posts on social media is this exhortation today to his followers:
"Please sign the petition: Britain should make amends to the Palestinian people now."
That petition is none other than this dodgy online screed:
"We call on our Government to acknowledge publicly that British policy and actions in Palestine from 1917 to 1948 led to catastrophe for the Palestinian people.
As Britain prepared to leave Palestine in 1948, its army stood by while Zionist forces terrorised hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into fleeing their homeland. In that way Palestine was transformed into Israel.
More than half of all Palestinians are still refugees today, most in dire straits. Israel denies them their right of return to their ancestral homes in what had been Palestine, and from the day of their flight has prevented them by force from returning.
As author of the 1917 Balfour Declaration, which was the origin of the catastrophe, and as the responsible power at the time of the crime, Britain has an obligation to make amends. It should acknowledge its share of responsibility for the creation of the refugee crisis, and recognize and promote the right of the refugees to return home.
Britain should make amends to the Palestinian people now."

  1. Off-topic, but readers might be interested in the latest post from Anglican pro-Israel blogger Ian G:

    1. That is interesting especially given the history with the International Red Cross.

Of course it is deliberate. They cannot even bear the sight of the Star of David. Many would prefer the swastika and that is not hyperbole. What are we letting happen to our civilisation? Can't they see?

    2. I wonder what they think of the oldest Jewish symbol, the menorah.

  2. Very interesting too:

I'm noting this for my own future referene since reading PSC (and its page sharer Aberystwyth PSC) thumb their noses at PSC policy by overtly linking to the antisemitic Redress site

  4. Britain should pay compensation to the Jews first for giving most of Israel's land to the Hashemites i n Jordan,
stealing land money and weapons from the Jews and giving it to the Arabs in the 1948 war and for most of the incredible cruelties, legal and political, they inflicted oin the Jews in then Palestine (see The Rape of Palestine 1938, William B Ziff).
They also owe a shedload of cash to Jews in UK who are being attacked by Muslim psycopaths thaqnjmks to Londonistan mentalitry and culitvation. Of course some Britons will also nqualify for some compensation in the latter casae.

Meanwhile, a local "Australian" "comedian", born in Saudi Arabia of Bangladeshi parents and a prominent BDS campaigner Aamer Rahman, had this to say about his show a day or two ago:

Tonight 3 zionists walked out of the front row of my show as I was in the middle of a joke about how it’s not ‘anti-Semitic’ to criticise Israel for being a brutal colonial occupation that genocides Palestinians.

Everyone clapped as they left. Another woman shouted “I’m Jewish, and I’m staying!”

The zionists did not get refunds.

At the end of the show some brown people were disappointed because they wanted me to be ‘more like Russell Peters.’

    Win some, lose some.*

Don't know who that idiot Jewish woman was, or why true Zionists would attend the show of this bigot.

*On his Twitter feed, he said: "Win."
