Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

"A Reflection Of The Ongoing Failure Of The Obama Administration To Take This Matter Seriously": John Bolton on the UN vote

Interviewed on Fox News by Greta Van Susteren, former US ambassador to the UN John Bolton maintains that the Obama administration could have prevented the vote that has resulted in Palestine's admission to "non-member observer state" status with all that that potentially entails.

"Israel is making a big mistake in trying to downplay this [result]" he says, explaining that "This is not looking good for Israel," that "Israel's on the run," and in a weaker position vis-à-vis Iran and its other regional enemies.

  1. Israel is in a weaker position becaue its chief financier and weapons supplier is weakened and cannot afford to support it much longer. And it is morally exposed because its supposed committment to a two state solution is belief by the continued expansion of settlements, exclusive roads and checkpoints and the barrier inside the West Bank.

    1. I'm not too thrilled about those settlements myself!

    2. Israel has always been in favour of 2 states from 1949 till now. But they don’t want to empower another hamasistan in the WB or give the Arabs another chance to destroy Jerusalem.

      Abbas: Jerusalem Is Ours
“In his celebratory speech after his return from the UN, Abbas threw down the gauntlet: "One day, a young Palestinian will raise the Palestinian flag over Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the state of Palestine!”

As for US aid what a load of BS, it goes back to US manufactures like GE to cover their enormous losses pumping out unwatchable rubbish on MSNBC. Also the US gets to hobble the Israeli military aircraft industry. Congress's belated investment in Iron Dome has been their most prudent military spending in decades.
Have a good look at Ahmed Jabari’s car that's what the latest munitions enable you do, kill a scumbag in his car and not even puncture the front tyres.

      Re: “Settlers”
The WB is disputed territory, if you only allow one side to build then you are preempting negotiations. BTW Israel has removed a third of checkpoints, but you haven’t noticed.

      Re Separation barrier
Do you have an alternative way to reduce terror attacks, because the PA’s incitement and corruption only encourages more attacks.
