Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

Now, what was it that pro-Israel Jordanian opposition leader Mudar Zahran warned of less than two years ago regarding Europe's "refugee" influx?  Ah, yes!
"This is only the beginning ...This is going to change Europe's culture ..."
And that isn't going to be good for Europe's Jews.

Meanwhile, notes ANSAmed:
'The number of people suspected of Islamic radicalization in France has risen by 60% in two years, reports Le Figaro.
The daily said that there are currently 18,550 cases within the Fichier des Signalements pour la Prévention et la Radicalisation à Caractère Terroriste (FSPRT), which collects reports from the prefect’s office, the police, gendarmerie and the public. Managed by the interior ministry, the system was set up in March 2015 and during the period of the Paris attacks in the same year there were 11,400 people listed.'

The Best Of France, The Worst Of France

Cropped fromTimes of Israel photo
At left is the non-Jewish French swimmer Fabien Gilot raising his arms in victory following his relay team's Olympic triumph on Sunday and thereby revealing the Hebrew tattoo on his arm that's a tribute to his Jewish step-grandfather, a Holocaust survivor.

And below is a disturbing snippet from a longer article about the great Greek-founded French city of Marseilles, where incidentally a couple of fondly recalled penpals of mine (one Jewish, one Catholic) lived when we were teenagers and a certain Charles de Gaulle governed France.

(I wonder what Sylvie and Nicole are thinking about the current situation in their increasingly islamified native city, where Islamic and socialist elements are apparently locked in an incongruous embrace):
'La Marseillaise, France’s National Anthem, got its name when volunteer revolutionaries from Marseille sang the song. Now Marseille is at the center of a new revolution. The Islamic Revolution. Muslim volunteers from France have been identified training with the Taliban and after Mohammed Merah’s massacre at a Jewish school, a group of Jews in Marseille were attacked by Muslim men shouting, “Vive Mohamed Merah, F— the Jews, Palestine will win.”
As in 1994, Allah Akbar has become the new Marseillaise, replacing the song of the Army of the Republic, with the guttural cry of the Caliphate eager to be born.'
