A Libyan Jew who with his family fled his birthplace at the age of 12, as part of the mass exodus triggered by the pogrom directed at the Jewish community following Israel's victory in the Six Day War (see my posts one and two on the subject), has returned to post-Gadaffi Tripoli with high hopes of cleaning up the abandoned synagogue and achieving reconciliation with the new masters of Libya represented by the National Transitional Council.
