Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

In London, Stephen & David Went to PalExpo

Stephen is an ex-vicar.  He is known for his antipathy to Israel and for linking in the past to antisemitic websites, including ones claiming that Israel was responsible for the 9/11 atrocity.  As a result, he was suspended by his bishop from posting on social media for six months and was lucky to keep his pulpit.  He subsequently resigned that pulpit to become CEO of "Peacemaker Mediators," an organisation that does more than its fair share of bashing Israel.

To judge by what he has just posted on Facebook, Stephen appears to think of himself  as a martyr in the Arab cause:

Jenny is a life peer, a member of the House of Lords.  She sits on the International Board of Reference (go figure!) of the so-called "Peacemaker Mediators" organisation.  Like Stephen, Jenny  seldom wastes an opportunity to demonise Israel.  Here's what she's posted to Facebook about the benign Palestine cultural event anti-Israel hate fest that's taken place in London this weekend:

Jenny, who's a medical doctor and recently had a heart operation requiring two stents, spoke at the PalExpo, advocating a total boycott of Israel.  Medical and technological breakthroughs included, presumably, stents and all. Stephen likes what she said.

Stephen went to PalExpo on Saturday.  He enjoyed himself immensely:

As did his friend Tony Gratrex of Reading Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), who's a 9/11 troofer:

Stephen noted the presence of many families and children:

He took lots of photos, including this mutely eloquent image:

And this, from a display table:

(And the three below)

David also went to PalExpo:
'The vast majority of the crowd seemed Muslim. I would guess the split was 80/20. Perhaps even higher. The pool of white British anti-Israel activists is limited, so at an event like this they get swamped.'

David is a Jew and a Zionist.  He is known for his powerful reporting of anti-Israel events and exposure of antisemitism. Unlike Stephen, he did not enjoy himself:
'I had my family with me, and to be honest, I had little intention of suffering the talks. I looked at the list of speakers and I have seen all these circus performers before. In fact, so confident am I of this now, I challenge Pappe or Peled or Barkan to allow me to write the speech for their next event. I am sure I will create ‘pitch perfect’ diatribe, fully in tune with the message they wish to deliver. Ben White would be more troublesome. Not that I couldn’t write it, but simply I wouldn’t want to make the effort of finding 200 irrelevant statistics, that he uses to deflect the attention of the audience with.
The groups behind the ‘expo’, those  ‘supporting’ the political side of this event are also all known to me. There is the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC). A group that is riddled with those who believe Jews are evil, rule the world and didn’t actually suffer a Holocaust at all.  The Palestine Return Centre, that ran the event that saw Gerald Kaufman suggest ‘Jewish money‘ control’s the UK government.  Or the Queen Mary University, where I saw Jewish students with a question stand accused of being ‘paid’ and controlled by the Israeli embassy.
Jenny Tonge comments
...
So I chose not to engage with this hatred. I wanted to enjoy the ‘cultural’ aspect. I spent years living and working with real Palestinians. Not the fake wannabee ‘solidarity type’, but those who live in Ramallah, Jericho and Gaza. Those Arabs and the Israelis are neighbours. I lived nineteen years in the Middle East. Why would I not want to go to this event. Why should I not feel at home?
I walked around the upper floors, and because of the time, I went upstairs to eat. This action was to see me thrown out....' [Emphasis added]

Keep up the great work, David!  Your admirers are legion.

Same goes for you, brave Mr Hoffman:

"Shekel for the Good Goy": Anti-"Zionists" bare their antisemitic fangs

James Paterson, who's not yet 30, has been since last year a Liberal member of the Australian Senate, representing Victoria.   In his maiden speech he called on Australia to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

And in the latest issue of the Australian Jewish News Senator Paterson has a splendid article regarding the brouhaha over the casting of an Israeli actress in the movie Wonder Woman.

It's replicated on his web page.
'Superhero movies have become a staple of Hollywood, but few have garnered as much political attention as Wonder Woman. It’s the latest target of the ugly anti-Israel Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign.
The film has already been banned in Lebanon and Tunisia, pulled from the Nuits du Cinéma film festival in Algeria, and temporarily banned in Jordan.
This pointless boycott neatly highlights the deep undercurrent of anti-Semitism within the BDS campaign, despite the protests to the contrary by its advocates.
Wonder Woman is not a movie about Israel, or the Israel-Palestine conflict. It’s silent on Israel’s right to exist, and its right to defend itself. It takes no view on the validity of the claims of Palestinians.
The only crime Wonder Woman is alleged to have committed is to feature an Israeli woman as the lead actress. This fact alone has been sufficient to justify and excuse boycotts, bans, and over the top criticism.
Like other Israeli women, Gal Gadot served in the Israeli Defence Force. Like most people, Gadot has condemned Hamas for its terrorism.
Her views on the right of Israelis to live free from the threat of violence, and her support for the IDF’s securing of this right, are no different to the support that the vast majority of Australians give to our troops fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere.
Gadot’s role in Wonder Woman has even been denounced in the pages of the Fairfax press, with columnist Ruby Hamad claiming it’s an example of the how Western feminism ignores the plight of Arab women.
Hamad claims that the praise the movie has received from her fellow feminists’, despite Gadot’s role, is “a frustrating reminder of what I call the Arab blindspot of Western feminism.”
She continues: “Hailing Wonder Woman as a hero for all women is an ironic assault given the huge gulf between the character’s anti-war idealism and the hawkish views of the actor who portrays her.”
Hamad is correct to call attention to the plight of Arab women. But it is wrong to blame this on Israel – the only country in the Middle East that provides women the same level of freedom and opportunity, regardless of their race or religion, that exists in the west.
According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap report Israel is ranked as the 49th most gender-equal society in the world, slightly behind Australia at 46.
This is in stark contrast to the extensive legal and cultural oppression that exists throughout the rest of the middle east. After Israel, the next highest ranked country in the region is Qatar, at 119. And the majority of the middle east is even worse, filling 12 of the bottom 20 places.
This is because of systemic legal and cultural inequality, covering everything from laws enforcing strict Islamic dress codes, to woman’s testimony in court being worth half of that of a man’s – a policy that exists for at least some issues in 14 Middle Eastern countries. The horrific treatment of women under ISIS, with their widespread practice of capturing women to be kept as sex-slaves, is even worse.
There have recently been some small advances, with King Salman of Saudi Arabia issuing a decree that will allow women to study, work, and access government services without requiring permission from a male guardian. But these advances are long overdue, and sadly, few and far between.
Feminists who care about the plight of Arab women would do better to examine their own blindspots and focus on these real outrages, rather than a Hollywood movie with a Jewish actress'
On Facebook Senator Paterson doe not resile from proclaiming his staunch support for Israel:

Needless to say, the usual suspects are not happy:

And many, including thee two

and the sample below, have revealed the grubby antisemitism that motivates their hatred of Israel:

Rape Jihad: Palestinians in Sweden's Statistics

According to this site
'New data from Sweden shows how immigration and refugees from Islamic countries puts especially women in danger.
92 percent of all severe rapes (violent rapes) are committed by migrants and refugees. 100 percent of all attack rapes (where victim and attacker had no previous contact) are committed by that same group. In other words, thousands of Swedish women would not have been raped and thereby traumatized for life, had it not been for the influx from Islamic countries.
The top-10 list over rapists’ national back ground shows only one non-Islamic country (Chile).
Most rapists have Iraqi back ground, followed by refugees and migrants from Afghanistan, Somalia, Eritrea, Syria, Gambia, Iran, Palestine, Chile and Kosovo.
When taking into account the number of people from the different nationalities in Sweden, Afghans are 79 times more likely to commit a sexual crime than people born from Swedish citizens...
Other Western European countries are experiencing similar challenges to women's security....'
Needless to say, it's grotesquely ironic that a government dominated by extreme feminists should be collaborating in putting its female citizens in such danger.

Above and below  are some examples, gathered by a non-politically correct Swedish blogger (of integrated immigrant parentage) of complaints Swedes have made to him on Facebook concerning reverse racism and misogyny they have witnessed or experienced in the nation that seems to be leading the rest of north-west Europe lemming-like into self-inflicted destruction by demographic "diversity".  (The stories are in the subtitles.)

Beware the kuffar:

Note the casual use of "kike" in what has become a hellhole not only for women but for Jews:

"O Allah, Do Not Leave a Single One of Them on the Face of the Earth!" (video)

At the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a Palestinian preacher exhorts his Deity to make short work of Americans, Europeans, and their Saudi and Qatari "collaborators".

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2gyCe6cRTk

To quote the translator and uploader, Memri.org,
'In an address at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian cleric Sheikh Nadhal Siam, also known as “Abu Ibrahim,” criticized the Saudi and Qatari regimes, which, he said, were “immersed in collaboration” with the Americans and the English, respectively. His prayers to Allah to “enable us to slaughter” the Americans, the Europeans and the “criminal and treacherous” Arab rulers were answered by cries of “Amen” from his audience. The video was posted on YouTube on June 18.'

David Singer: Trump must reject Abbas claims at UN on size of Palestine

Here's the latest article by Sydney lawyer and international affairs analyst David Singer.

He writes:

President Trump cannot begin to resolve the Jewish-Arab conflict unless he first rejects the claims made by Mahmoud Abbas at the United Nations in 2012 and 2013 concerning the territorial dimensions of former Palestine. Abbas told the United Nations on 27 September 2012:
“The two-State solution, i.e. the State of Palestine coexisting alongside the State of Israel, represents the spirit and essence of the historic compromise embodied in the Oslo Declaration of Principles, the agreement signed 19 years ago between the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Government of Israel under the auspices of the United States of America on the White House Lawn, a compromise by which the Palestinian people accepted to establish their State on only 22% of the territory of historic Palestine for the sake of making peace.”
Abbas repeated this claim at the United Nations on 26 September 2013:
“However, as representatives of the Palestinian people, we have long been aware of our responsibilities towards our people and had the necessary courage to accept a two-State solution: Palestine and Israel on the borders of 4 June 1967, establishing a Palestinian State on 22% of the land of historic Palestine”
On 11 January 2014 Abbas stated:
“Israel’s problem is that the Palestinians know more than the Israelis about history and geography, We talk about what we know”
Abbas was talking through his keffiyeh Abbas’s twice-repeated claim contradicted article 2 of the 1968 PLO Charter – which organisation Abbas heads:
“Palestine, with the boundaries it had during the British Mandate, is an indivisible territorial unit.”
The boundaries of the British Mandate – created in 1922 under the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine – encompassed the territory that is today called Israel, Jordan, Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and Gaza.

Article 25 of the Mandate restricted the reconstitution of the Jewish National Home to an area extending to the Jordan River - 22% of the territory comprised in the Mandate.
The Mandate – administered by Great Britain until 1948 – saw the creation of:
· one Arab State in 78% – Jordan – in 1946
· one Jewish State in 17%  – Israel – in 1948
· sovereignty remaining unallocated in the remaining 5% – Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and Gaza
Abbas’s claim at the UN in 2012 and 2013:
· is deceptive and misleading
· amounts to intellectual fraud and
· rejects international law as established by the Mandate
Trump’s acknowledgement that Jordan – not Israel – comprises 78% of historic Palestine would greatly enlarge the territorial field within which Trump could hope to resolve the long running conflict which now hinges on who should exercise sovereignty over a piece of land no larger than Delaware.

Jordan's inclusion in any negotiations would create alternative solutions to end the conflict other than the creation of another Arab State between Israel and Jordan – a proposal first floated by the United Nations in 1947 and rejected many times since then by the Arabs.

That is a prospect that should excite Trump as he seeks to find a way to end a conflict whose solution eluded Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama over the last 23 years. Those presidents had the best of intentions yet stumbled badly in failing to reach the finishing line because they shied away from insisting Jordan be a party to any negotiations with Israel.

Jordan – part of the conflict in Palestine since 1922 – must be part of any solution in 2017.

Trump – the consummate deal maker – must involve Jordan in any further negotiations to avoid following in the footsteps of his failed predecessors.
In the case of “Palestine” size can really make a big difference.

Antisemitism Should be Bad for the Image, Mr Peacemaker Mediator!

Now that he's no longer the vicar of Virginia Water, Stephen Sizer, CEO of the so-called Peacemaker Mediators organisation, has no diocesan overlord to rein him in.

And as the centenary of the Balfour Declaration draws ever closer, our old friend is keenly posting anti-Israel material.

 Here's something he's dragged up from 2010.

It's sparked some lively discussion between our old mate and his friends, who include this chap Cozzens, who's contributed the following:

A skim of his Facebook page shows that Cozzens, who frequently comments on Sizer's posts, is unlikely ever to be mistaken for a Judeophile.  In fact, with this unpleasant introduction, he has in the past 24 hours linked on that page to an article that invokes that antisemitic forgery "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion".

Surely, in view of his own notorious brush with the "Israel did 9/11" trope, Stephen Sizer should long since have given a Facebook friend and commentator like this (and Cozzens is not the only one) the old heave-ho.

How about it, Mr Sizer?  Surely you and the rest of the Peacemaker Mediators are not unconcerned at that body's CEO being seen in such company?

Not a BBC Broadcast: "Where is Your Positive Image? ...Ten Important Scientists in 1000 Years?"

Here's an outspoken Middle Eastern broadcaster, Youssef Al-Husseini, telling his Egyptian audience that in view of atrocities on westerners committed by Muslims round the world it's no wonder that the Islamic world has a bad image.

"Why do they hate us?!" he even says at one point.  "If they didn't, there would be something mentally wrong with them."

And he goes on to observe: "Where is your positive image?" adding scathingly "C'mon ... Ten important scientists in 1000 years?..."

Clearly, this is not a BBC broadcast.

Nor is it likely that Mr Al-Husseini would ever be permitted to speak as he does in the studios of the biased and dhimmitude-inclined British national broadcaster, which is still feeding British schoolkids notions such as these:

For the genuine contributions of medieval Islam to knowledge, all praise.  But let's not practise inverse racism or gild the lily or belittle and disparage Western civilisation, as the BBC loves to do.
