"The Oldest Hatred" Grips Muslim Teenagers in Belgium

In the little land of Belgium, Muslims and non-Muslims make common cause against the little land of Israel:

That was "The New Antisemitism" on display in Brussels.

Meanwhile, a major survey undertaken by three Flemish universities, published last month, of 3,867 teenagers in Antwerp and Ghent (1,068 of them Muslims) indicates that "The Oldest [aka Longest] Hatred" is seven times commoner among Muslim youths than among their non-Muslim counterparts.

Tellingly, 50.9 per cent of Muslim respondents agreed (and a further 24.5 per cent "partially agreed") with the statement "Jews foment war and blame others for it".  The comparable percentages for non-Muslims were 7.1 and 20.6 respectively.

45.1 per cent of Muslim respondents agreed (and a further 27.9 per cent "partially agreed") that  "Jews seek to control everything".  The comparable percentages among non-Muslims were 10.8 and 29.2 respectively.

35 percent of Muslim respondents agreed with that "Jews have too much clout in Belgium" compared to 11.8 percent of non-Muslim respondents.
