It seems even some BDS lefties are uncomfortable. Here is a good take on the situation.
He's not saying anything that the activist and Hollywood faux Marxists on the left don't commonly cheer when Chavez, Castro, Mugabe, Tutu, Khameni and company say it. My only surprise is that they didn't invite the other Barghouti - the mass murderer in prison for life, to join them via video conference. Anyway, I've never met a hardcore leftist antisemite, sometimes a Jew themselves, who couldn't find a way to stand on stage with Nazis, racists, terrorists and sundry clowns. I remember years ago observing an antiwar rally in Chapel Hill hosted by ANSWER. One of the speakers was "Rabbi" Michael Lerner of Tikkun. He stood on stage with representatives of ANSWER, the American Nazi Party and the Klan, until they physically threw him off the stage. While the look on his face was precious, he didn't actually leave and continued to cheer from the audience.
Of course there is no mention of "Islam". Someone should remind him of the number of deaths Islam has caused and continues to cause daily~including against other Muslims and that during the Holocaust the "Islamic" Mufti of Jerusalem was right there like a smelly old sock recruiting Muslim troops to kill Jews. Truly, sometimes I feel our world is very sick!
