News in Brief: Three Reasons To Smile ...

First, there's the welcome news that, following complaints, the British Advertising Standards Authority has banned the PA's Mission (or Embassy, as it seems to like to term itself) in London from wiping Israel from the map, at any rate on its website, and making egregiously misleading statements.

Secondly, as Ray Cook reminds us in his latest blogpost, a British Muslim, Kasim Hafeez, runs a website called theisraelcampaign.org, which, in Ray's words, "attempts to describe the current anti-Israel and antisemitic trends of Islam in the UK and abroad and put the record straight" and his postive comments at the recent Big Tent for Israel event in Manchester "made a huge impression on several hundred people, mostly Jewish".

Thirdly, here's a case of Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense.  Shook me to the marrow, it did.  I mean, those are four of a girl's recommended "five a day".
(Come to think of it, perhaps a more appropriate response than mirth is sadness that anyone should have such a warped attitude to elongated fruit - and to women.)
