Australian Comedian Austen Tayshus Takes On The Israel Bashers (video)

In  Q & A on Australian television recently, Aussie comedian Austen Tayshus (Sandy Gutman) turned serious in order to take on Greens senator-elect Lee Rhiannon, a prominent advocate of BDS, as well as leading Sydney journalist Paul McGeough, another inexorable Aussie critic of Israel.

The encounter was described here: http://theblankpagesoftheage.blogspot.com/2011/06/funny-man-turns-serious.html

And now, thanks to Vlad Tepes (of the well-known blog of that name), you can view it here  (hat tip: reader Shirlee, and special thanks to Vlad):

  2. Amazing how the questions are also statements.

I knew Sandy when we were both students long before he became Austen Tayshus. Hope we can elist him further in the defence against hypocrisy. He's great.

  4. The leftists who were calling Israel a 'aparthied' state and ignoring the Islamist crimes agianst thier own people are ignorant of what islam is.

Perhaps if the leftists on this panel looked up the fatwas online on what the islamist Theocrats want to do to Israel they might change thier tune.

Or perhaps they should start here first:

  8. I saw that segment. He shouted a lot, and spouted a load of rubbish.

  9. He interrupted others spouting rubbish - and did it very good-naturedly, too!

  10. Not really. He came across as a kind of menacing pseudo alpha. He also failed to address the question at hand.
