Most people call them goat pens. Because the Dome of the Rock isn't Palestinian, it's Kurdish, Mamluk and Ottoman. Muslim mythology accredits the site to a Yemeni "Jewish Rabbi" (is there another kind of Rabbi?) named Kaab al Ahbar who converted to Islam, moved to Byzantine Syria and briefly visited the site of the first and second temple while declaring it also the site of the "Isra al Maraj" or 'Night Journey of Mohammed'. This at least is the Sunni mythology. Shiia has declared that Kaab al Ahbar was a lying Jewish devil (literally, that's their word) and considers all his Sura to be evil and satanic, including any part he may have had with the al Aqsa, potentially even to the al Aqsa itself, indicating that in Shiia, there may not even be a valid justification for al Aqsa or that it existed at all.

So that's your Palestinian architecture - - originated by Jews built by Kurds and Turks and one of the two main branches of Islam considers it all a lie.

Empress Trudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06073538968722986065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541537715440752.post-26280990829548716232012-10-08T23:43:10.441+11:002012-10-08T23:43:10.441+11:00Thanks, Ian. Sometimes they appear to be obsessed by it. Malaysia has never had a dispute with Israel, but the government encourages the citizens to hate Israel and also to hate Jews whether they are Israelis or not.
Few Malaysians have laid eyes on a Jew; the tiny Jewish community emigrated decades ago. Nevertheless, Malaysia has become an example of a phenomenon called “Anti-Semitism without Jews.” Last March, for instance, the Federal Territory Islamic Affairs Department sent out an official sermon to be read in all mosques, stating that “Muslims must understand Jews are the main enemy to Muslims as proven by their egotistical behaviour and murders performed by them.” About 60% of Malaysians are Muslim.Ianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00024690260923786342noreply@blogger.com
