I am delighted to hear from you! We face an uphill struggle, as the J Street agenda is being pushed hard in Oz, and there are plans to form a similar organisation in the UK. But hopefully recent revelations re Soros will impede recruitment!Daphne Ansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12297188759548931101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541537715440752.post-25399929870854761482010-10-01T22:58:57.950+10:002010-10-01T22:58:57.950+10:00"Daphne"

I read that in hard copy yesterday, and have a feeling that it's only become known that the site operates from London; that could be the reason for inaction.
I've just seen this news story on thejc.com:
'George Galloway’s Respect party apologised after it emerged that one of its national council members had posted “antisemitic” comments about Jews on Facebook – despite campaigning against racism against Muslims.

Abul “Abz” Hussain, who stood unsuccessfully in May to become a Tower Hamlets councillor suggested in one post that a “Jew” should be swapped for aid to Gaza. He has now been expelled from the party.
The former law student at the London School of Economics also joked about chopping off a Jewish person’s peyot (sideburns) and confiscating their kippah.
Mr Hussain, who lists himself as a fan of Zakir Naik, the Muslim preacher who has been banned from the UK, also wrote about Jews: “Here’s a penny go put it in the bank and [you] just might get a pound after ten years interest!”
His comments came despite another post in which he urged LSE to discipline participants in a stunt in which students dressed up as Guantanamo Bay inmates and chanted “Oh Allah.”
He said that if students had dressed up as Nazis, the university would have been “hounded by the Zionist lobby” and the students dismissed.'Daphne Ansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12297188759548931101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541537715440752.post-72451825129569269002010-09-28T21:38:26.904+10:002010-09-28T21:38:26.904+10:00Londonistan's got a violent web site which nob...Londonistan's got a violent web site which nobody's done anything about - see the report in yesterday's Telegraph online (Cheering for Osama, by the think-tank Quilliam, describes the website as the “mouthpiece of the most extreme and bloodthirsty strand of jihadism”. It says the Arabic-language site is a “jihadist” discussion forum which “regularly praises suicide bombing, the death of British and Nato soldiers and incites hatred and violence against Iraqi Shias, Jews and Westerners”. It is unclear why the Medad al-Suyuf site has not been shut down, but it may be because the site is not in English and had not previously been traced to Britain. It is registered to Walid ElSharkawy, a British national of Egyptian descent, who lives in Camden, North London, according to public records.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
