Eretz Israel is our unforgettable historic homeland...The Jews who will it shall achieve their State...And whatever we attempt there for our own benefit will redound mightily and beneficially to the good of all mankind. (Theodor Herzl, DerJudenstaat, 1896)

We offer peace and amity to all the neighbouring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all. The State of Israel is ready to contribute its full share to the peaceful progress and development of the Middle East.
(From Proclamation of the State of Israel, 5 Iyar 5708; 14 May 1948)

With a liberal democratic political system operating under the rule of law, a flourishing market economy producing technological innovation to the benefit of the wider world, and a population as educated and cultured as anywhere in Europe or North America, Israel is a normal Western country with a right to be treated as such in the community of nations.... For the global jihad, Israel may be the first objective. But it will not be the last. (Friends of Israel Initiative)

In Washington, Israel-Hatred Rallies the Ratbags, Trump & Clinton Rally the Troops (videos)

Israel-haters, including those special clowns, the Neturei Karta nuts, have been out in force on the streets of Washington screaming their bile against AIPAC and against Israel (raucous cries of "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," "Gaza, Gaza, don't you cry, the fight for you will never dies," plus Israel-demonising screeching and shouting).

The demonstration was organised by Al-Awda, the Palestine Right To Return Coalition and ANSWER Coalition.

Some of the hate-filled ratbags flaunting their bile:

And two of the speakers at the AIPAC conference:

  1. I found some of the speeches yesterday impressive. Possibly Trump's best speech so far. None the less they are political speeches for American voters not for Israelis. There is a nugget of sanity in going our separate ways forever. The sword of Damocles the US loves holding over the Jews has become increasingly oppressive and in a way it would be better if they dropped it once and for all. Barring that Israel should take the US at its word and start a clock that counts down to zero and when that happens, no more aid, no more intelligence sharing, no more technology transfer, no more. The so called unbreakable relationship is nonsense and in this day and age the US should be no more important to Israel than Taiwan or Colombia. Were it not for some F-16's and some antiaircraft missiles there would be little that Israel actually can't live without. The so called sacrosanct UNSC veto had turned into a cudgel to beat the Jews over the head. If the UN is so broken that the US Department of State claims some kind twisted moral victory by 'protecting' the Jews then fix the UN, not the Jews. No - Israel needs to go its own way. The future is the east not the west. Certainly not the EU. Not Canada at least not today and if Hillary wins, my god things will only get worse. It's time to tell the US that their support in the past is appreciated and now it's time to disencumber each from each other. Let the US bow and scrape at the feet of the Arabs and Persians.
